MARTA Lindbergh Center Station Tour

Please join MARTA's Director of Facilities, Remy Saintil, as he takes us on a tour of Lindbergh Center Station and the surrounding area.
Lindbergh Center was one of MARTA's first Transit Oriented Developments in 1999. The original station with its surface parking lot was transformed when AT&T (at the time, Bell South) built their two headquarter towers directly across the street from MARTA Headquarters on Morosgo Drive. The station itself was transformed with a second platform for the northbound service, and now it is surrounded by restaurants, small businesses, and many apartment complexes. Plus, the original surface lot was replaced with three multi-floor parking decks.
Lindbergh Center Station is the transfer point between the Red and Gold rail lines. When the Red Line turns back between North Springs Station and Lindbergh at 9:00 p.m., Airport travelers will switch lines between the Red and Gold at this station.
Lindbergh Center has a MARTA Police precinct located in the middle of the north bus loop, from which they patrol all stations between Civic Center to the south, up to both Doraville and North Springs on the north and northeast lines.
One of the newest features at Lindbergh is the new SMARTA automatic restroom. MARTA is monitoring how customers like them as well as how maintenance is impacted. The SMARTA toilet has state-of-the-art controls, including motion sensors, and the interior is vandal-resistant and virtually touch-free! Based upon the results of this pilot program we hope to convert all our restrooms to be automatic in all our stations.

I didn't know about the bathrooms and fix it bike station. Can't wait to see those additions popping up at other spots in the new year (hopefully)
