The Grand Palace is a historic landmark and one of the top tourist attractions in Bangkok, Thailand. It was built in 1782 and served as the official residence of the Kings of Siam (now Thailand) for over 150 years.
The palace contains numerous buildings, halls, and pavilions, many of which are decorated with intricate carvings, colorful mosaics, and gold leaf.
One of the most impressive buildings in the complex is the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), which houses a revered Buddha statue carved from a single block of jade.
