Exploring famous temples in Bangkok in this video!
Bangkok - night life, street food, shopping - the city has it all. But, the most underrated are the temples of Bangkok. This video is a Bangkok temple tour - these are must visit spots when in Thailand. Bangkok temples are really beautiful, but many people end up missing them. However, I hope this video helps you plan a Bangkok tour along with a visit to Wat Pho, Wat Arun, Wat Phra Kaew and of course the Grand Palace.
The top attraction in Bangkok, Thailand is the Grand Palace, once the home of the kings of Siam and now a place of worship and big ceremonies. It's located in Bangkok's Old Town, where most visitors go for tourism. Thailand has a very rich culture, with magnificent palaces and temples. Starting with this video, I'll show you how to visit the 3 main temples in Bangkok on the same day. The first is Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), inside the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun. In this series, I'll show you all about Bangkok: things to do, where to go, what you need to know, etc.
They're all Buddhist temples. Wat Pho is famous for the largest reclining Buddha statue in the world, and Wat Arun (also known as Temple of Dawn) is a very picturesque temple by the Chao Phraya river, especially beautiful at dawn and sunset.
All 3 places are close to each other. It's a short walk between the Grand Palace and Wat Pho, and from Wat Pho, you can catch a quick ferry boat to Wat Arun. They're across from each other, so you just need to cross the Chao Praya river.
The temple tour is a great way to experience the Chao Phraya River and the public ferry service across the river. Remember this travel route:
    Take the Silom Line BTS
Get off at Saphan Taksin BTS
Head to Sathorn Pier for Chao Phraya Ferry
Take the ferry to Tha Chang pier and head to Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew
    Walk to Wat Pho
Go to Tha tien pier near Wat Pho to take ferry for Wat Arun
For entry tickets for each of these places, do watch the video.
More videos coming up from my Bangkok tour soon.
