It's a course hosted by dep of Electrical engineering and dep of Physics. Depends on what you want to do in life. Half of them get placed half of them go for grad school in the US.

1) EP is vastly different in different IITs. In IITM it's half electrical half physics (literally). Some call it poor man's electrical, I call it scared man's Physics. 2) EP IITB is a lot better than every other place, as I've heard. 3) You can get placed, but I don't talk about placements, I find the whole thing nauseating. 4) Electrical courses in IITM are notoriously very hard.

There are. But unfortunately all my classes are in a single classroom which doesn't have AC. Newer departments have good facilities. Our building is really old. Even all the fans in my classroom don't work.
