great stuff…..thanks for sharing
@@30AndAWakeUp you’e very kind, thank you.
One of the residents filmed a few minutes of the ship being towed out by tugboats, to open waters for the sea trials and did a brief “live” with it. I’m writing this at 2:45 am your time on Thursday morning. I am rooting for you all to get going. I have subscribed to a few residents’ channels, and I just now discovered yours and will subscribe. I love the creativity of your videos and your watercolor art (I am a beginner). Let’s hope that maybe Friday or Saturday we get to wish you all Bon Voyage!
Awesome video!! I loved the boarding date updates - cracked me up. Yahoo - hopefully the sea trials go well. Loved the dancing and, of course, Cheri's watercolors! Can't wait to hear more - fingers crossed that you will be in your ultimate room soon and heading out!
Thank you!
The watercolors are lovely.
That was brilliant, fun and sorry….quite funny😊. Looking forward to future posts!!
Thanks Susan.
Hi guys just joined your vlogs, great fun, though would love to know more about you as well. 7 years on a sail boat, gosh you are adventurous and the painting diary is beautiful. I know my email says Graham, but sadly he died in May this year, so it’s tough for me at the moment, after 54 years together. So enjoy good health and times together , they’re precious. God bless Joan
Hi Joan, we're sorry for your loss. We'll be married 42 years this coming February. We retired onto a sailboat in Annapolis, Maryland in 2006. We lived on her, Believe (hence the TH-cam account name), for 7 years then visited Ecuador to escape hurricane season. After visiting for two years we decided it was time for another chapter and moved to Cuenca, Ecuador in 2013 and lived there for 10 years. It took something like Villa Vie to convince us that it was time for another chapter and now here we are.
Love your paintings
I've been watching a few of you get ready to sail -- hope it's soon!! Enjoy!
I’m following several VVR vlogs and they all have their own unique style but you certainly show an artistic flair and are very comfortable with video editing. Maybe a past profession?
Anyway, best of luck that the sea trials don’t uncover more lengthy repairs. Selfishly we followers are ready to set sail vicariously through you intrepid pioneers! Hopefully, it’s bon voyage soon! 🚢
@@Mlgraham22 hi there, you’re very kind. When I retired I wanted a hobby that was relatively self-contained and would allow me to expand and learn to use new and different techniques. All for fun and yes, to make myself smile. 😀. Animation and video editing fit the bill. I consider these to be my video diaries. I can’t remember what I had for lunch yesterday so these videos are perfect for capturing these special memories.
O ye of infinite patience and goode humour ..,,,
I am routing for you and your shipmates that you all set sail real soon!! You guys have been awesome champs and deserve an amazing adventure! What a bonding and camaraderie for sure!!!
Sept 4 2024 - 11:16 pm EST - (USA) Looks like she is at the Belfast anchorage . Hopefully she will be back in port first thing in the morning with clearance! Loved the video! Will be watching Marine Traffic Global Ship tracking and following your journey once you get underway.
Thanks for sharing 👍
Great production of this video! All these broken promises b4 u even sail away. Can't imagine what kind of chaos, nonsense & hyjinx will issue on the waters on a ship that was dry docked & unused gor 4 yrs. God bless u all.
I wouldn't say broken promises. Residents begged for transparency about what was going on so VVR gave them dates based on the current information. Out of 3,000 items on a To Do list problems occured requiring change of dates due to the new information of the day, so in the spirit of transparency VVR explained the problem(s) and the impact and changes to the timeline. People might ask, "why didn't they inspect the rudder stocks first?" Without a crystal ball, which of the 3,000 items (engines, generators etc.) should they have delayed? If they hadn't been transparent (I wouldn't have been) no perceived broken promises would have been evident.
So nice! Thank you!

Haha what happened to part 8? Had so much fun binge watching. This one was pretty funny! Yay for sea trials!
@@sonya2852 part 8 is there but you have to look in the actual playlist. TH-cam picks and chooses what it highlights, but all are in the playlist.
Michael- LOVE the animation--too cool. What subscription do you get your ABBA music and Mammas & Pappas songs from. I have a friend that might like to use those vibes in her channel. Will definitely view some of your back episodes. Happy waves!
Thank you Stacia, I transferred most of my music from CDs to MP3 files and use those.
@@believesailing Oh, I thought you had to obtain copyrighted music from a service for sale (owner permission) to use on You Tube. My friend is always looking for new service sites (low cost) to get famous music from.
@@Stacia-ep9vr During upload, TH-cam does a scan for copywrighted music and gives a warning. In most cases the music can be used but then the channel cannot be monetized, which I don't want to do. In other cases the music is blocked in some countries so the uploader is given the choice of silence during that part or replacing.
@@believesailing Much thanks for the info.
What do you think of yesterday’s announcement?
Which one?
Those people are those of the increasingly rictus grins.....midlife cruising 😂😂😂 they used their remorselessly upbeat videos to wrangle an upgrade from their inside cabin to a window one. They have (well he looks more and more uncomfortable ) tried to profit off what's happening, whilst simultaneously encouraging people to throw their money away...And they are sooooo cringy 😮😢
Agreeeeee
They are not!
I think they are adorable. They are capable of turning a sow's ear into a silk purse. They have a great attitude.
I hope the sea trials do not reveal extreme engine problems. That could mean dry dock for a year or more and millions. I think at that point they would just file for bankruptcy. Keeping my fingers crossed because I am following the TH-camrs who bought cabins and want to come along for the journey. At this point I feel like I'm invested. 🌬🛳 ❤🙏
Yesterday went well and they've started today's sea trials. So far all is well.
@@GrandmaMouse1960the people are very sweet
@@rebeccahowell6538you misspelled "stupid "
@@ukwhitewitch Oh- i see what you are saying. I think they got themselves in a bind for sure. Now they are just hoping that it will turn out. I'd have pitched a fit and demanded my money back. I'd have created a mutiny on the Bounty LOL.
@@GrandmaMouse1960 Ooh what channel is the 9 month cruise? That's the sort of stuff I like to watch lol.
