I was hoping that something like this would come along and already placed my order :D Cannot wait! Unfortunately (or now... fortunately...) Fanhome couldn't send out the last package with the last 4 part sets since the beginning of March... Looks like this is a blessing now as I will start building the model only when I have all the parts at home. Now I can wait a bit longer until I can add this as well :) Looking forward to it!
Oh and one thing for the scanner upgrade: what it is missing is the occasionally hanging lamp so maybe you can add a randomizer to the code so sometimes a light just hangs? :D
the back lights on the real kit where not that much, a sheet of dark opaque plastic, covering real stock base's cars light panel lights, it hard get that wrong? 🙂

Control watch will no longer be needed, it is a cool prop, but is very limited in terms of buttons etc. For this mod you will be able to use our remote or a mobile app to control KITT ☺️👍

Wow, this looks amazing! Does this kit include new headlight and foglight LEDs as well? The stock ones look way too yellow in my opinion. Great work once again, Mike!
Glad you like it!! The headlight colour is a heated topic and comes down to personal choice really 😅. Personally I think the yellowish ones are more accurate to the original bulbs that KITT would have had, rather than looking too white like more modern LED’s do. Plus, in some shots in the show they do look exactly like this, yellowish as you’d expect, and then in others they look brighter depending on the shot. We decided here that the yellow ones were actually more accurate to the original. I hope that helps ☺️👍

Quick tip, work in reverse with the instructions and bag and tag each part with their screws and it’s not too bad! You won’t need to take ‘everything’ apart, but quite a bit if you have completed the model yes. Still, will be worth it!
Disco mode? Hm... would have preferred the 8 original patterns though. Do the 4 panels on top of the Dash light up in sync with the voicebox too? Couldn't see that in the clip.
Yes the four lights in the startup panel on top also light up in sync with everything else, it’s very difficult to film 😬. You do see them towards the end when it shows you the components. 👍

Will there be a mod to replace the low console that is wrong in the model? given that it is the one from season 3-4 and if I'm not mistaken the upper panel is also wrong, also will there be a mod to eliminate the screws on the darkened panel of the rear lights and also have a better diffusion of the illumination of the lights?
Glad you like it! ☺️ It’s a pretty cool setup isn’t it. Short answer is no I’m afraid, sorry. This is a pretty advanced piece of kit and there’s just no way it can communicate back and forth with other third-party products, they don’t support that or half of what my monitors do to begin with. Everything you see here talks to each other, even with the power as it can enter sleep mod etc, so unfortunately you will need the correct monitor and power mod to enjoy this. Everything within this package is designed to communicate and synchronise with one another. They all share sounds and animations and trigger each others effects. Third-party mods introduced to this will just be standalone and unfortunately compatibility or support can not be guaranteed. I hope that makes sense. 👍
Both mods work on their own or together. If you have the Mike Lane monitors already then you buy this dashboard kit on its own and it plugs into your monitors.
All the options are there already. If you already have the Mike Lane monitors. Just buy the dashboard on its own. Choose the option ‘Without monitors’ to buy it without monitors.
It will work without the monitors yes, however it won’t be compatible with other third-party monitors or power mods if you expect the same results or intend to mix. My monitors and dash communicate with each other to sync sound effects and animations see 👍.
@milelanemods Just to confirm, I have your monitor upgrade however this and the model are powered via another 3rd party power mod. Will your dash upgrade function at all in this configuration? I don’t mind if the standby feature for example is compromised due to this however just good to know if dash light animations will still function or if it’s unfortunately completely incompatible with my setup.

I just took the yellow ones off and soldered white ones on the existing wire, it looks so much better white
