If any of you are also football fans and even if you’re not, watch Martin O’Neill on the latest overlap podcast. Now that’s wit, that’s intelligence, that’s charisma in a sportsman. Many of the comments say he’s the best guest the overlap ever had on.
Fury doesn’t have the intelligence to display any clever wit. He’s a bird brain in a nutshell. His personality consists of slagging other fighters off & using profanities to disparage them.
And he’s also a compulsive liar into the bargain and a really sore loser with no integrity.
The guys who flock to him share many or all of his attributes and are of the same intelligence level.

What put me off Fury was that he managed to convince people of the notion that he was this once in a generation fighter who was head and shoulders above everyone else. Yes he beat a 39 y/o Klitschko and Wilder 3 times but other than that there're no other wins on his resume that would warrant anything close to praise and plaudits people were giving him. Quite clearly he wanted to emulate Floyd Mayweather, being selective about who to fight and when to fight them to protect the 0 on his record. 'You can't keep spouting 'no man born from his mother..' and not back it up.

@@saintdon4461 Respectfully, people who thought Fury won the second fight are either biased or don't know what they're looking at. Boxing is about landing clean effective shots, and not getting hit of course. Other than a couple of right hands through the guard and some body shots, the vast majority of the shots that did land were partially blocked or cuffing punches. The clean effective work came from the middleweight who was consistently landing clean shots to the body and then in the second half of the fight, was landing combinations down and upstairs forcing the big man on the defensive. Fury cynically thought he could fiddle his way through the fight just like the first time and it backfired.

Just watched Opetaia and Nyika build up and interviews before the match and that for me it is just such a contrast. Made me realise how toxic Fury is and 100 times more happy for Usyk beating him and breaking his "mind games". Just cannot believe people need those antics to sell the fights and call it good for the sport... I am just a pure casual and Usyk's fan girl, so most propably do not get it all. A great vid Joe , very well said . Remember how Usyk just smiled , nodded and stared at Marco Hook , after Hook pushed Usyk and abused him. Usyk did the same to Fury , both fights , that alone shat on Fury's ego and pride. The entire Fury team is a disgrace to the word " Champion " . For Fury to say " World Champions should be British or American " was outrageous. I am no " hater " but i am glad this fraudulent, charlatan is on his way out. He will not and does not deserve the Hall Of Fame. Do you seriously believe all those pundits would have Fury rou d their dinner table. Not at mine for sure. Good riddance

Fury is everything that decent people despise. Twice the size of Usyk yet half the man. I think it’s fair to say around half of the British fight fans were rooting for Usyk in both fights and that is because they saw through fury and his scum personality. Legacy ? None really, he’ll just be remembered in world boxing history as a massive British heavyweight with a lightweight resume who at the end of the day wasn’t very good I also believe that if he would’ve beaten Usyk in their recent fight that he would’ve chosen to fight AJ instead of the triple header against Usyk as it would’ve been an easier fight with similar financial reward. Him and warren are both full of themselves and both arrogant towards anyone who disagrees with them, both suited.

Fury constantly mocking and deriding Usyk as a "little man" was not a wise tactic, in PR terms. It was reminiscent of the archetypal schoolyard bully, the big lad who feeds his ego by pushing around and humiliating little lads. And considering Usyk is 6' 3" and built like a brick shithouse, if he's a "little man", what does that make the average sized guy?
Quick fact about Ali and Joe Frazier - Joe didn't only help Ali out financially when he was broke. After the WBA stripped Ali of their title for refusing to be drafted, they held an elimination tournament to find a new champion. Joe was number 1 in the WBA rankings, but he refused to participate in that tournament in protest against Ali being stripped.

Fury was a decent boxer, but that's about it.
He was ill disciplined, hedonistic, and only got away with it( and sometimes parodoxically worked in his favour ) because he was a heavyweight, coming in 4 stones heavier than his opponents.
At almost 6ft 9 and 20 stone he had a huge advantage over 16 stone 6ft 2 guys. Look at Valuev. He only ever got beat( on points) twice, "in the twilight of his career" by 2 world Champions, and in his 53 fights he had a better body of work than Fury.
Fury beat Klitschko, when Klitschko was almost "40 years old", then failed a drug test( served a 2 year retrospective ban for it) for the PED Nandrolone, while training for the Klitschko rematch, so they'll always be question marks over the Klitschko win, for me.
The only other decent-ish win was Wilder. A guy who beat absolutely nobody but a "near 50 year old" Ortiz.
Fury's Legacy is a fallacy. He was decent. Mainly ( like Valuev) because of his huge advantage over opponents, but if he was naturally smaller( like his brother Tommy) and as ill disciplined ( like Tommy) as he is, he'd not even win an area title.
He'd never make weight, or if he did, he'd be absolutely weight drained with no punch resistance, and nothing in the tank.
People should look at Valuev's complete record against Fury's.
Value wasn't great, struggles to get in the top 100, had an average record, but arguably better the Fury's.
    Fury is a myth.

Klitschko, AJ, Usyk, Dubois, Wilder, all inarticulate plodders who would put a glass eye to sleep. Fury created an alter ego to try and get his own adrenaline going because otherwise everything about the division was dull and monotonous. And guess what? ALL of you bar none tuned into EVERY SINGLE Fury press conference or interview to see what he had to say because he's BOX OFFICE. Usyk is efficient and masterful blah blah but fcuk me he's boring. Think of all the Fury family antics in lead ups to fights and its clear to see Fury started relying far too much on the psychological fight and the sweet science took the back seat.
After the 2nd Wilder fight Fury should of stayed sharp, in the gym excelling his game instead of cherry picking easy/gimmick fights. Im not saying he would of beat Usyk, but when you're up against a guy luke Usyk, you cant afford to be less than your absolute best.
