Since the theme of Nazarick is "inhuman beings", Nabe is actually a doppleganger - but she has minimum level in transforming, giving her just the one human shape. All her other levels are invested in combat and magic.

The classification is defined by what racial attributes one gets, with humanoids getting no racial classes at all, demihumans getting racial classes that come with passives and skills and heteromorphs getting stronger and more defining classes at the cost of also getting weaknesses and vulnerabilities. If you look at the character sheets for example, Aura and Mare have no racial levels, while all the others have some of them, with some even having more racial levels than job levels.
Clementine's Japanese VA was a real treat to hear for me since I watched Overlord immediately after Saga of Tanya the Evil. Hearing the voice of Tanya coming out of a character who is even more psychotic was icing on the cake!
Fun fact about Clementine, there is a spin-off video game in which Clementine was captured and brought to nazarick to be experimented on instead of being killed. You play as her and your goal is to Escape nazarick. It's called Overlord: escape from nazarick
A lot of the episode blocks seem to be organized similar to other reactors, probably because the blocks of episodes work in arcs of the books themselves. 1-4 was book 1, this is book 2, and I'm assuming this next set will be book 3. They generally try to fit 3-4 books each season, which is why a lot of us are saying info is left out.
That's natural though, when making books into a series it's impossible to get it in all the details (Not that most wouldn't object to it). All the same I think the Anime and Books are both amazing to watch/read

Another fun fact: kajit wanted immortality to find a way to resurrect his mother, who i believe died of a brain tumor years before. He spent years researching magic and stuff trying to find a way to revive her but needed way more time. Along the way of life, he lost that purpose was just doing it because he knew he wanted to, but forgot why exactly until he was about to die. Normal people can't handle resurrection magic and their bodies would turn to ash if used on them, so he wanted to find a way through necromancy instead of divine magic
Important note and a fun fact: Aura is a ranger and level 100 like most of the floor guardians, but her skills are suited more for teamwork and beast taming meaning she is weakest on her own but very strong in a group. Her abilities, shown but not explained are actually very important later on. She can use controlled releases of gases, pheromones, and poisons to debuff, buff, agro, deagro, and even command(the commands mostly for beasts). The thing she used on the hamster was an agro gas to draw them out. Now for the fun fact, the hamster is actually a girl, everyone just assumes she's male because they gave her the title wise king without ever learning her gender and she either doesn't care to clarify or doesn't even know what gender is given she doesn't know her own race.

He didn't just use a "skill" on the Wise King. He used a very low-level one. You can actually hear the change in the tone of his voice when he says "level one". His disappointment is obvious.

As a rule of thumb for Overlord, write down EVERYONE's names, a lot of characters are more important that you'd expect, and there are a lot of relevant characters.
Yes!! What a great surprise! :D On the note of understanding how every fight in Overlord will work out before the fight even starts, the creator has done a great job either really humanizing whoever Ains faces or turning them into such arrogant jerks. Either you're hoping that Ains will recognize a humanized enemy's fighting spirit and hope to spare them or you can't wait to see how hard Ains stomps an arrogant jerk. The fight is entertaining from start to finish even if we never really have to worry about the protagonist.
Commentary Episode 5 What's up friend, thanks for reacting to this anime As always I will try to clarify some things trying not to spoil and using information that is in the Overlord Manga and Light Novel. It first becomes clear to us that the Slane Theocracy squad weren't immediately executed, rather they were first tortured for information, but sadly they went a little too far with the torture and many ended up dying or completely losing their sanity. Ainz has access to resurrection magic, but for now he is afraid to try using it on the prisoners, because he fears that their bodies will disappear and regenerate in the Theocracy, like they would in a game. He doesn't want to risk being found out by the theocracy. In the initial dialogue between Ainz and Albedo, where she tells him that she doesn't mind that he changed his programming to "being in love", we can see that Albedo is not as loyal to her creator (Tabula Smaragdina) as the rest would be. of the NPCs, who always put their own designer first and then the rest of the "gods" or "supreme beings" like Ainz and the other members of the Guild. This something unique to her and will have implications later. Ainz for her part feels very guilty about Albedo, because he trusts her precisely because she is obliged to "love" him and that is why she can never betray him. Even though it's kind of played for a little laugh, that Ainz is upset because he misses his friends but they all think it's because they passed, but I still find it tragic. Growing up, there's nothing sadder than watching your gamer group drift apart. The way Ainz Ooal Gown sounded, it really did seem like a tight knit group of 41 people having a blast. Spending time in a place you all created by yourself is quite lonesome...
Commentary Episode 6 Well in this chapter there are not too many things to say, however, I will try to clarify some details that perhaps were not clear. (NOTE: my contradiction begins) The NPCs in the tomb don't know that they were characters from a video game. From their point of view, the Guild members were their gods who created them and the other "players" that sometimes came were "enemy gods" that they sometimes had to fight. Also, since teleportation was used a lot in Nazarick, the guild members didn't really interact much with the NPCs, but they remember some things they heard when their creators casually passed by and interpret it all as the divine will of their creators, leading to many amusing confusions. Demiurge asked Mare in chapter 2 about her clothing. In Japan, the Gap Moe or "contradiction of appearance and behavior" is very popular and the creator of the twins was basically making a joke by making them both wear reverse outfits. It could also be that she had a fetish for cross-dressing boys, considering her brother was incredibly perverted. But that is why now everyone believes that "by divine decree" children born in Nazarick must reverse the type of clothing they have. If Ainz does nothing, they may soon have a "funny fashion nation" on the horizon. The powers of this New World would be the following: First, the Martial Arts, which are gained by genetic disposition and later developed with the proper training. If you don't have the potential for Martial Arts, it doesn't matter how much you train, because you will never get stronger than someone who was born to be good at it. Then there are Talents, which are basically random boons and can either be useful or useless. For example, it is said that there is a person who was born with the ability to know the exact temperature of water, but naturally this Talent is not very useful in combat. Instead, a talent to be “Immune to Poisons” would be much more highly valued. Finally there is a third type of natural magic in the New World, but for now I won't talk about it to avoid spoiling. However, the Crown of Wisdom that Clementine stole is an item created from this third magic. When Ainz fights with his armor he cannot use magic. But being a Level 100 player, his physical strength is far superior to that of a human. This despite the fact that his character is a Lich, who are always physically weak. Fortunately his opponents this time were pretty stupid ogres, who only know how to attack forward. Narberal's lightning (Nabe) is a simple 3rd Tier magic, so that reveals again the terrible weakness of the beings of the New World compared to Ainz and his gang. However, it is most likely that they were not level 100 players, but a level closer to 50 or 60, because in their legend they always seem to be on a par with other creatures that are strong in the New World, but that for Ainz or level 100 NPCs would be easy to beat. The way Ainz gets angry at Ninya's comment reveals to us that in his original world he was very lonely and didn't have any kind of family or friends outside of the Ygdrassil game. That's why the pain of being abandoned by his friends is abnormally great and the adventurers are confused believing that his former comrades have passed away. An interesting detail is that the adventurer Ninya (the talented magician) had an older sister who was kidnapped by a corrupt nobleman. He naturally has the goal of getting her back, but first he needs to get stronger and gain influence. The comment that the adventurers make about Ainz's power reveals a lot about the level of the people of the New World. One of the strongest humans is Gazef Stronnof, but according to the Ainz adventurers he has superior physical strength, although we know that he realy is a magician and that implies that he is physically weak. Now, it's true that Gazef didn't have all the enchanted equipment with him that would normally allow him to get the most out of him, but he can still be used as a reference. If we use math from the Dungeons & Dragons board game, which is the source of inspiration for much of the Overlord lore, we can deduce that Gazef will be somewhere between Level 29 and 30 based on Ygdrassil Game logic. So that means… that most characters in the New World couldn't hurt Ainz even if he stood by doing nothing because of his passive ability to “ignore any physical hit from an attacker below level 60”. By the same rule we deduce that the adventurers now accompanying Ainz will be between level 9 and 12, which is the average rank of any skilled combatant in the New World. Although, thanks to their experience and teamwork, they would obviously have the advantage over an opponent like, for example, young Nfirea, who is not skilled in combat but must have a similar level for being a magician. Similarly, an Adamantite Adventurer could be between level 27 and 29, but would still have a chance against Gazef Stronoff depending on equipment and circumstances. (At this point I realized that I was showing off, but for some reason I wanted to continue) Clementine is a warrior who can use martial arts, but not magic. However, she knows a lot of pretty cool tricks. The weapons she uses are stilettos that have been enchanted with different magics and she can activate them as soon as they make contact with her victim. We saw the demonstration of one of them when she pierced the escaping adventurer, who was imbued with hypnosis magic. In the end, Khajiit (the bald wizard) mentions that Clementine is a human who reached a level of strength known as the "Realm of Heroes" that surpasses humanity and is above people like Gazef. We also know that there is a squad of the Theocracy, the Black Scripture, that has individuals of this “Heroic Level” and that they are surely now hunting Clementine for being a traitor. One detail that I should have mentioned earlier is that, in his original world, Ainz was a clerical salary worker in a somewhat exploitative company. This has been firmly engraved in his personality and that is why he often uses terms like “superior” instead of “masters” or talks about implementing “salaries” or “staff meetings”. That is why he often cannot understand things that people from that New World tell her, such as "the honor of warriors" or the "dignity of the aristocracy" because he judges almost everything according to the parameters of a company. Sometimes this has its good side, because the tricks he learned as a salesman can help him appear friendly among adventurers, like when he convinced the guild receptionist to let her choose the quest, because he couldn't read the content of the ads. One of the biggest discomforts for Ainz is that his servants are so loyal that they consider it their greatest happiness to work 24 hours a day for him using items that make them immune to hunger, fatigue, or sleep. I find it interesting that Clementine was doing really well before he took off the armor, even if he wasn't trying that hard, she is a lot stronger than she seems. Also, remember those names she mentioned, you'll eventually know all of them and it's a lot more interesting in retrospect (Seeing who she listed and who she interestingly didn't)

Spoilers from the novel | Spin off game below - - - - - - - Clementine's body was resurrected and put through tests in which she fights different clones of enemies and illusions of the guardians, so see her martial arts skills. Every time she dies, she is resurrected and her memory erased, and starts the trials again.
Now we start the Tribulations of Naberal Gamma, she's not allowed to kill the red headed adventurer yelling at Ains about her broken potion, a trash human adventurer is hitting on her and when she jumps down the stairs to protect Ains she gets a chop to the head, and this is just episode 5.
Not sure if he's serious or it's a joke. But someone having genuine affection and attraction to another doesn't make them a simp. Albedo and Shalltear are probably the only ones that could even be considered such by any stretch of the imagination. The rest adore Ains simply out of respect and devotion due to their creation.

Light novel information No spoilers (Just information not going to get from the anime) The crown of wisdom is the only one of its kind and Clementine stole it from (what I believe ) a priestess from the theocracy once removed the user goes insane losing all body functions and mostly just screaming in insanity till death Martial arts is basically magic for warriors they are hard to learn and especially the higher tier martial arts but people are able to learn them they just have to constantly practice and improve themselves There are different tiers in the martial arts as well like for example (lesser strength ,strength, & greater strength) (Fortress, heavy Fortress, & impenetrable Fortress) (ability boost & greater ability boost) They mostly showed skeletons but in the light novels there were skeletons, ghouls, zombies, ghasts, wights, swollskins, corrupt dead & organ egg (Oregon egg a human undead in the shape of an egg that uses it it's intestines like a rope to catch and pull in enemies) Khajit (bald necromancer) Actually has a sad backstory his whole goal is to become immortal and keep doing more research on Resurrection to simply bring back his mother that died in his childhood (he blames himself) for not coming home at the time his mother told him. Thinking he could have saved her if he came home on time he might have been able to bring back a priest from the village to save her Clementine Bikini armor wasn't just for a fan service she specialized in speed and flexibility. Her weapons aren't magical weapons. Weapons in this world can have a spell stored inside the weapon itself (one spell per weapon) Ainz spends a little bit more time with Clementine increasing his proficiency in melee combat he was always a magic caster in the game and never really used weapons in the real world (also after the "fight" Ainz pulls out the infinity jugglet of water to hose himself down from all the blood and guts Clementine spills all over him) The orb of death is actually sentient and also proceeds to immediately kiss Ainz ass after sensing his aura and wishes nothing more to be by his side spreading death everywhere Ainz understand there's a risk of a sentient magic item but refuses to destroy it due to rarity so cast a protection spell on it and gives it to the hamster which the orb then immediately starts bitching at about and tells the hamster to give him back to his master (Aniz) More information later
Commentary Episode 8 Well friend, I will start by explaining some things that may not have been clear in this very sad episode. Most of it is in the Light Novels. First of all, Clementine has a hobby of decorating her light armor using the plates of the adventurers she kills. When she murders the entire "Swords of Darkness" group, she makes sure to leave clues that she has taken Nfirea down the sewers. But AInz is able to find its true location by using magic to serch for the plates. The reason why Ainz uses so many scrolls is because he is thinking about what he did when Ygdrassil was a game and there were many ways to avoid magic detection and even attack anyone who tries to use tracking magic. Maybe you didn't notice it or maybe you did, but it turns out that Ninya was actually a woman and her companions knew it. She probably disguised herself as men for safety, but what is certain is that Clementine delayed torturing before killing her. Ainz notices this and gets quite angry, but his emotional suppressor forcefully keeps him calm. However, his anger does not stop and so he constantly feels in a state of "disgust". So yeah, he's pretty angry, so angry that even the emotional suppressor can't quite calm him down. One detail that I haven't explained until now is that there is a fundamental difference in the creation of undead that Ainz uses. For example, he can summon Death Knights from corpses and then the creature remains in the New World indefinitely. He can also summon Death Knights without using a corpse, but then the creature disappears after a while, as it always did in the Ygdrassil game. When Ainz is wearing his armor he can't use magic, but the creatures he summoned are actually the product of a "Skill" so that's why he can use them. Also, they are much stronger than other beings because the one who summoned them is an Overlord-class Liche, but since they didn't appear from a corpse, then they will disappear after a while. Generally the Undead appear naturally in the New World in all places where there are many corpses. That is why the city cemetery has a wall and posted guards. Normally they would make their rounds and kill any Undead they saw, but the Khajiit mage had been hiding them underground. When Ainz arrives at Khajiit's ceremony place, one of his men alerts him, but accidentally uses his name, thus revealing the identity of the culprit behind the presence of the Undead Army. Ainz scoffs at this man's clumsiness and Khajiit glares at him for it. Before fighting Ainz, Clementine brags and reveals quite a bit about her and others' strength. Apparently Gazef, who is probably level 29, can fight her but not beat her. That means that she who has reached the strength level “Heroic” must exceed level 30 or 31. That is the reach of the Heroic level. She also tells us that there is an individual in a group of Adamantite rank adventurers who could beat her. Now, if you're level 29 and you fight a level 30 guy, he'd be at a huge disadvantage. But if you has better gear or teammates to help , maybe you could be able to break the 2 or 4 level caps. So five level 30 guys could put up a fight against one level 35 guy or maybe win if a miracle happens. But the difference between Ainz and Clementine is at least 30 Levels and that can't be overcome even with the Dragon Balls on your side. So he laughs at her and tells her: No matter how you fight, I won't have to use my full strength. Clementine thinks Ainz is insulting her, but in reality he is being condescending, which is worse in a way. I hope the comment has served you.

Comment Episode 9: As always I will explain some things using information from the novels. First in Nabe confrontation: Khajiit by himself must be around level 20 or 21, but since he has that "Death Jewel", which has been feeding life energy for 6 years, he can do very impressive magic for the people of the New World. At first he seems like he has the upper hand, but he could never win. Narberal Gamma is a Level 63 Battle Maid and we haven't even seen everything she's capable of until now. The thing is that Ainz forbade her to use magical attacks that exceed the Third Tier while they were traveling undercover and she played the character of "Nabe, the companion of the hero Momon". That is why at first she has to fight so hard. But we do have some clues to this, such as the fact that she can take a hit from a Dragon or hit it with sheer physical force. As a magician she should be physically weak, in fact, she would be…if it wasn't for the overwhelming difference in levels. This is why she is extremely irritated throughout the fight and gets so offended when Khajiit suggests that she "surrender to him". When Ainz gives her permission to use her full power, Narberal ends the battle with a single spell, Chained Dragon Lightning. This type of magic usually works by hitting one target and then jumping directly to another, like a domino effect. It is a spell of the seventh tier of magic that in the New World no human can do by himself and is considered almost divine. That is why Khajiit at first believes that Narberal is delusional. Now Ainz's showdown: Clementine doesn't know it, but Ainz is taking advantage of her confrontation to learn new things. And it is that one of his main doubts is whether it is possible to become stronger than he already is. Because in the Ygdrassil game level 100 was the maximum and it was not possible to progress beyond that. Ainz wants access to more sources of strength and so he is experimenting with physical techniques, watching what Clementine does and playing with her to see what kind of abilities it is possible to acquire as a Warrior. When Ainz catches Clementine, she is not too scared at first because Liches are powerful mages, but they are not physically strong and believes that she will be able to break free with a little effort. Technically, due to the way race levels work, he still is an elder lich. The overlord is a higher level of lich, but he does still have 10 levels in Elder Lich.

Commentary Episode 7 Hello friend, as always I will try to clarify some things without spoilers and based on information from the Manga and the Novels. The Goblins that appear were summoned by one of the horns that Ainz gave Enri, but she still has another one in reserve. In the game it was considered a "Trash item" that only summoned 19 Goblins that served as cannon fodder, but in the New World they represent a considerable force. Enri remembers Ainz but not the fact that he is Undead because he used magic to alter her memory and make the sisters forget his skeletal face. The lightning that Ainz used against the knight (in episode 3) is actually a 5th Tier spell, but Nfirea mistakes it for a 3rd Tier lightning because, in the New World, there is hardly anyone who can use magic higher than that grade and never have seen something similar. Still, he shows good instincts because realizes that Ainz could use 5th Tier magic, though out of common sense he assumes that would be his ultimate attack. (But we know that this is far from reality). The hamster is a Level 30 creature, which is very strong by New World standards, but not by Ainz. By the way, the hamster is a female of his kind and not a male. In addition, in Japanese the way of speaking of him resembles that of the samurai stereotype. Everyone seems to think that Hamsuke is a majestic beast that displays power and wisdom, but Ainz can only see it as a cute hamster. While the cgi is fine in some fights, you get used to it. Overlord is really good for the characters, thoughts AND fights, as well as the interconnected lore sprinkled between episodes and seasons, stuff pays off if you keep these details in mind
So, something for when you next have a slot open is two suggestions: My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom. A slice of life harem isekai story where the main character has boys and girls in her harem. And BOFURI: I Didn't Want to Get Hurt So I Maxed Out My Defense. A slice of life VRMMO story of a girl playing a game for the first time and having hilariously good luck as she has fun with her friends and gives the game devs a lot of stress.

Since the theme of Nazarick is "inhuman beings", Nabe is actually a doppleganger - but she has minimum level in transforming, giving her just the one human shape. All her other levels are invested in combat and magic.
Very few characters in Nazarick are humanoid races, but there are some, Aura and Mare being elves most noticeably, even if they aren't humans.

The classification is defined by what racial attributes one gets, with humanoids getting no racial classes at all, demihumans getting racial classes that come with passives and skills and heteromorphs getting stronger and more defining classes at the cost of also getting weaknesses and vulnerabilities.
If you look at the character sheets for example, Aura and Mare have no racial levels, while all the others have some of them, with some even having more racial levels than job levels.
Demiurge is a really nice guy as long as you aren't burdened by morals or empathy.

A lot of the episode blocks seem to be organized similar to other reactors, probably because the blocks of episodes work in arcs of the books themselves. 1-4 was book 1, this is book 2, and I'm assuming this next set will be book 3. They generally try to fit 3-4 books each season, which is why a lot of us are saying info is left out.
That's natural though, when making books into a series it's impossible to get it in all the details (Not that most wouldn't object to it). All the same I think the Anime and Books are both amazing to watch/read

Another fun fact: kajit wanted immortality to find a way to resurrect his mother, who i believe died of a brain tumor years before. He spent years researching magic and stuff trying to find a way to revive her but needed way more time. Along the way of life, he lost that purpose was just doing it because he knew he wanted to, but forgot why exactly until he was about to die. Normal people can't handle resurrection magic and their bodies would turn to ash if used on them, so he wanted to find a way through necromancy instead of divine magic

Important note and a fun fact:
Aura is a ranger and level 100 like most of the floor guardians, but her skills are suited more for teamwork and beast taming meaning she is weakest on her own but very strong in a group. Her abilities, shown but not explained are actually very important later on. She can use controlled releases of gases, pheromones, and poisons to debuff, buff, agro, deagro, and even command(the commands mostly for beasts). The thing she used on the hamster was an agro gas to draw them out.
Now for the fun fact, the hamster is actually a girl, everyone just assumes she's male because they gave her the title wise king without ever learning her gender and she either doesn't care to clarify or doesn't even know what gender is given she doesn't know her own race.

We learned from Nigun the captain of the sunlight scripture (in volume 1 the undead king Arc from ep1 to ep4) in the Light novel when we read his inner monologue that the windflower scripture is currently searching for the Traitor windstrider(who is actually Clementine) and that is why the windflower scripture wasn't available to help them with Gazeff

What a great surprise! :D On the note of understanding how every fight in Overlord will work out before the fight even starts, the creator has done a great job either really humanizing whoever Ains faces or turning them into such arrogant jerks. Either you're hoping that Ains will recognize a humanized enemy's fighting spirit and hope to spare them or you can't wait to see how hard Ains stomps an arrogant jerk. The fight is entertaining from start to finish even if we never really have to worry about the protagonist.

As always I will try to clarify some things trying not to spoil and using information that is in the Overlord Manga and Light Novel.
It first becomes clear to us that the Slane Theocracy squad weren't immediately executed, rather they were first tortured for information, but sadly they went a little too far with the torture and many ended up dying or completely losing their sanity. Ainz has access to resurrection magic, but for now he is afraid to try using it on the prisoners, because he fears that their bodies will disappear and regenerate in the Theocracy, like they would in a game. He doesn't want to risk being found out by the theocracy.
In the initial dialogue between Ainz and Albedo, where she tells him that she doesn't mind that he changed his programming to "being in love", we can see that Albedo is not as loyal to her creator (Tabula Smaragdina) as the rest would be. of the NPCs, who always put their own designer first and then the rest of the "gods" or "supreme beings" like Ainz and the other members of the Guild.

Even though it's kind of played for a little laugh, that Ainz is upset because he misses his friends but they all think it's because they passed, but I still find it tragic. Growing up, there's nothing sadder than watching your gamer group drift apart. The way Ainz Ooal Gown sounded, it really did seem like a tight knit group of 41 people having a blast. Commentary Episode 6
Well in this chapter there are not too many things to say, however, I will try to clarify some details that perhaps were not clear. (NOTE: my contradiction begins)
The NPCs in the tomb don't know that they were characters from a video game. From their point of view, the Guild members were their gods who created them and the other "players" that sometimes came were "enemy gods" that they sometimes had to fight. Also, since teleportation was used a lot in Nazarick, the guild members didn't really interact much with the NPCs, but they remember some things they heard when their creators casually passed by and interpret it all as the divine will of their creators, leading to many amusing confusions.
Demiurge asked Mare in chapter 2 about her clothing. In Japan, the Gap Moe or "contradiction of appearance and behavior" is very popular and the creator of the twins was basically making a joke by making them both wear reverse outfits. Now, it's true that Gazef didn't have all the enchanted equipment with him that would normally allow him to get the most out of him, but he can still be used as a reference. If we use math from the Dungeons & Dragons board game, which is the source of inspiration for much of the Overlord lore, we can deduce that Gazef will be somewhere between Level 29 and 30 based on Ygdrassil Game logic. So that means… that most characters in the New World couldn't hurt Ainz even if he stood by doing nothing because of his passive ability to “ignore any physical hit from an attacker below level 60”.
By the same rule we deduce that the adventurers now accompanying Ainz will be between level 9 and 12, which is the average rank of any skilled combatant in the New World. Although, thanks to their experience and teamwork, they would obviously have the advantage over an opponent like, for example, young Nfirea, who is not skilled in combat but must have a similar level for being a magician. Similarly, an Adamantite Adventurer could be between level 27 and 29, but would still have a chance against Gazef Stronoff depending on equipment and circumstances.

Clementine is a warrior who can use martial arts, but not magic. However, she knows a lot of pretty cool tricks. The weapons she uses are stilettos that have been enchanted with different magics and she can activate them as soon as they make contact with her victim. We saw the demonstration of one of them when she pierced the escaping adventurer, who was imbued with hypnosis magic.
In the end, Khajiit (the bald wizard) mentions that Clementine is a human who reached a level of strength known as the "Realm of Heroes" that surpasses humanity and is above people like Gazef. We also know that there is a squad of the Theocracy, the Black Scripture, that has individuals of this “Heroic Level” and that they are surely now hunting Clementine for being a traitor.
One detail that I should have mentioned earlier is that, in his original world, Ainz was a clerical salary worker in a somewhat exploitative company. This has been firmly engraved in his personality and that is why he often uses terms like “superior” instead of “masters” or talks about implementing “salaries” or “staff meetings”. That is why he often cannot understand things that people from that New World tell her, such as "the honor of warriors" or the "dignity of the aristocracy" because he judges almost everything according to the parameters of a company. Sometimes this has its good side, because the tricks he learned as a salesman can help him appear friendly among adventurers, like when he convinced the guild receptionist to let her choose the quest, because he couldn't read the content of the ads.
One of the biggest discomforts for Ainz is that his servants are so loyal that they consider it their greatest happiness to work 24 hours a day for him using items that make them immune to hunger, fatigue, or sleep. That is why Ainz tries to introduce the concept of vacations, working hours, wages and rest hours; however, this is seen as a punishment by the NPCs rather than a reward. Clementine's body was resurrected and put through tests in which she fights different clones of enemies and illusions of the guardians, so see her martial arts skills. Every time she dies, she is resurrected and her memory erased, and starts the trials again.
Now we start the Tribulations of Naberal Gamma, she's not allowed to kill the red headed adventurer yelling at Ains about her broken potion, a trash human adventurer is hitting on her and when she jumps down the stairs to protect Ains she gets a chop to the head, and this is just episode 5.
Gotta remember this is based on a series of books, not manga so it flows differently. Season 1 covers the first 3 books.

The crown of wisdom is the only one of its kind and Clementine stole it from (what I believe ) a priestess from the theocracy once removed the user goes insane losing all body functions and mostly just screaming in insanity till death
Martial arts is basically magic for warriors they are hard to learn and especially the higher tier martial arts but people are able to learn them they just have to constantly practice and improve themselves
There are different tiers in the martial arts as well like for example (lesser strength ,strength, & greater strength) (Fortress, heavy Fortress, & impenetrable Fortress) (ability boost & greater ability boost)
They mostly showed skeletons but in the light novels there were skeletons, ghouls, zombies, ghasts, wights, swollskins, corrupt dead & organ egg (Oregon egg a human undead in the shape of an egg that uses it it's intestines like a rope to catch and pull in enemies)
Khajit (bald necromancer)
Actually has a sad backstory his whole goal is to become immortal and keep doing more research on Resurrection to simply bring back his mother that died in his childhood (he blames himself) for not coming home at the time his mother told him. Thinking he could have saved her if he came home on time he might have been able to bring back a priest from the village to save her

Bikini armor wasn't just for a fan service she specialized in speed and flexibility. Her weapons aren't magical weapons. Weapons in this world can have a spell stored inside the weapon itself (one spell per weapon)
Ainz spends a little bit more time with Clementine increasing his proficiency in melee combat he was always a magic caster in the game and never really used weapons in the real world (also after the "fight" Ainz pulls out the infinity jugglet of water to hose himself down from all the blood and guts Clementine spills all over him)
The orb of death is actually sentient and also proceeds to immediately kiss Ainz ass after sensing his aura and wishes nothing more to be by his side spreading death everywhere
Ainz understand there's a risk of a sentient magic item but refuses to destroy it due to rarity so cast a protection spell on it and gives it to the hamster which the orb then immediately starts bitching at about and tells the hamster to give him back to his master (Aniz)

Commentary Episode 8
Well friend, I will start by explaining some things that may not have been clear in this very sad episode. Most of it is in the Light Novels.
First of all, Clementine has a hobby of decorating her light armor using the plates of the adventurers she kills. When she murders the entire "Swords of Darkness" group, she makes sure to leave clues that she has taken Nfirea down the sewers. But AInz is able to find its true location by using magic to serch for the plates.
The reason why Ainz uses so many scrolls is because he is thinking about what he did when Ygdrassil was a game and there were many ways to avoid magic detection and even attack anyone who tries to use tracking magic.
Maybe you didn't notice it or maybe you did, but it turns out that Ninya was actually a woman and her companions knew it. She probably disguised herself as men for safety, but what is certain is that Clementine delayed torturing before killing her. Ainz notices this and gets quite angry, but his emotional suppressor forcefully keeps him calm. However, his anger does not stop and so he constantly feels in a state of "disgust". So yeah, he's pretty angry, so angry that even the emotional suppressor can't quite calm him down.
One detail that I haven't explained until now is that there is a fundamental difference in the creation of undead that Ainz uses. For example, he can summon Death Knights from corpses and then the creature remains in the New World indefinitely. He can also summon Death Knights without using a corpse, but then the creature disappears after a while, as it always did in the Ygdrassil game. When Ainz is wearing his armor he can't use magic, but the creatures he summoned are actually the product of a "Skill" so that's why he can use them. Also, they are much stronger than other beings because the one who summoned them is an Overlord-class Liche, but since they didn't appear from a corpse, then they will disappear after a while.
Generally the Undead appear naturally in the New World in all places where there are many corpses. That is why the city cemetery has a wall and posted guards. Normally they would make their rounds and kill any Undead they saw, but the Khajiit mage had been hiding them underground.
When Ainz arrives at Khajiit's ceremony place, one of his men alerts him, but accidentally uses his name, thus revealing the identity of the culprit behind the presence of the Undead Army. Ainz scoffs at this man's clumsiness and Khajiit glares at him for it.
Before fighting Ainz, Clementine brags and reveals quite a bit about her and others' strength. Apparently Gazef, who is probably level 29, can fight her but not beat her. That means that she who has reached the strength level “Heroic” must exceed level 30 or 31. That is the reach of the Heroic level. She also tells us that there is an individual in a group of Adamantite rank adventurers who could beat her.
Now, if you're level 29 and you fight a level 30 guy, he'd be at a huge disadvantage. But if you has better gear or teammates to help , maybe you could be able to break the 2 or 4 level caps. So five level 30 guys could put up a fight against one level 35 guy or maybe win if a miracle happens.
But the difference between Ainz and Clementine is at least 30 Levels and that can't be overcome even with the Dragon Balls on your side. So he laughs at her and tells her: No matter how you fight, I won't have to use my full strength. Clementine thinks Ainz is insulting her, but in reality he is being condescending, which is worse in a way.

As always I will explain some things using information from the novels.
First in Nabe confrontation:
Khajiit by himself must be around level 20 or 21, but since he has that "Death Jewel", which has been feeding life energy for 6 years, he can do very impressive magic for the people of the New World.
At first he seems like he has the upper hand, but he could never win.
Narberal Gamma is a Level 63 Battle Maid and we haven't even seen everything she's capable of until now. The thing is that Ainz forbade her to use magical attacks that exceed the Third Tier while they were traveling undercover and she played the character of "Nabe, the companion of the hero Momon". That is why at first she has to fight so hard. But we do have some clues to this, such as the fact that she can take a hit from a Dragon or hit it with sheer physical force. As a magician she should be physically weak, in fact, she would be…if it wasn't for the overwhelming difference in levels.
This is why she is extremely irritated throughout the fight and gets so offended when Khajiit suggests that she "surrender to him".
When Ainz gives her permission to use her full power, Narberal ends the battle with a single spell, Chained Dragon Lightning. This type of magic usually works by hitting one target and then jumping directly to another, like a domino effect. It is a spell of the seventh tier of magic that in the New World no human can do by himself and is considered almost divine. That is why Khajiit at first believes that Narberal is delusional.
Now Ainz's showdown:
Clementine doesn't know it, but Ainz is taking advantage of her confrontation to learn new things. And it is that one of his main doubts is whether it is possible to become stronger than he already is. Because in the Ygdrassil game level 100 was the maximum and it was not possible to progress beyond that. Ainz wants access to more sources of strength and so he is experimenting with physical techniques, watching what Clementine does and playing with her to see what kind of abilities it is possible to acquire as a Warrior.
When Ainz catches Clementine, she is not too scared at first because Liches are powerful mages, but they are not physically strong and believes that she will be able to break free with a little effort. To be fair, normally this would be true, but since Ainz is level 100, his physical strength is terrifyingly monstrous for a person from the New World. If Clementine was level 60, then the principle of not being able to overcome her physically would be fulfilled.
Unfortunately for Clementine, she is barely Level 31. In the New World she is a real power to be reckoned with, but in Nazarick there are many who exceed that level.
Clementine only realizes the difference between the two when she can't get rid of on the first try and then Ainz confirms it by telling her that it wasn't even necessary to use magic to defeat her. In short, his confrontation with Clementine was not a fight but a sadistic game.
While Ainz is squeezing Clementine, plates of her armor begin to fall off. They are the plates of the adventurers of "The Swords of Darkness" that were not fully fixed because Clementine had just acquired them. It is an artistic way that the author has to tell us “¡Revenge!”.
Before the fight, Ainz said that he did not blame Clementine for killing the adventurers because perhaps he would have done the same if the situation required it. It was a way of saying, "It's not personal, it's just business." Bottom line: "I'm not killing you because you pissed me off, but because you ruined days of work I spent impressing those kids so they could advertise me."
And then he added: Blaming you for killing them would be very hypocritical of me.
But right at the end, before Clementine died, Ainz pointed out to her that she had taken her time torturing Ninya before and now he wanted to do the same. And when he finally broke her spine, he added, "I forgot to mention that I'm a big hypocrite." At that moment he is confessing that all this "was very personal" and that he had really grown attached to the adventurers, especially Ninya.
The Crown of Wisdom is an original New World item that must not be removed once worn or the wearer will go insane. That's why Ainz has to destroy it in order to save Nfirea without losing her sanity.
Then in the post-credits scene it is revealed to us that, while Ainz was doing all this, things were happening with other NPCs from Nazarick.

The aura of despair skill he used has five levels.
Despair Aura I: Has a chance (if not resisted by ability, equipment, level difference, etc.) of causing Fear. Fear refers to an abnormal status of being afraid, which inflicts a penalty to all actions. Besides inflicting fear, it can reduce the stats of its victims. Normally, Despair Auras would not have an effect on the level 100 NPCs, but when equipped with the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown, its effect can be strengthened. Although wearing armor protects against weapons like the stilettos, it does nothing against ability penalties caused by Ainz's Despair Aura.
Despair Aura II: Has a chance of causing Panic. Panic is a more severe version of Fear, caused by stacking additional Fear effects on each other. Anyone afflicted by that status will want to flee the ability user at all costs ― in other words, they will be unable to take any combat-related actions against that person.
Despair Aura III: Has a chance of causing Confusion. This can only happen if the target does not have any recovery measures prepare.
Despair Aura IV: Has a chance of causing Insanity. Insanity is an extremely annoying bad status, being a permanent version of Confusion. It cannot be removed without magic from a third party.

Hello friend, as always I will try to clarify some things without spoilers and based on information from the Manga and the Novels.
The Goblins that appear were summoned by one of the horns that Ainz gave Enri, but she still has another one in reserve. In the game it was considered a "Trash item" that only summoned 19 Goblins that served as cannon fodder, but in the New World they represent a considerable force. Enri remembers Ainz but not the fact that he is Undead because he used magic to alter her memory and make the sisters forget his skeletal face.
The lightning that Ainz used against the knight (in episode 3) is actually a 5th Tier spell, but Nfirea mistakes it for a 3rd Tier lightning because, in the New World, there is hardly anyone who can use magic higher than that grade and never have seen something similar. Still, he shows good instincts because realizes that Ainz could use 5th Tier magic, though out of common sense he assumes that would be his ultimate attack. (But we know that this is far from reality).
The hamster is a Level 30 creature, which is very strong by New World standards, but not by Ainz. By the way, the hamster is a female of his kind and not a male. In addition, in Japanese the way of speaking of him resembles that of the samurai stereotype.
Everyone seems to think that Hamsuke is a majestic beast that displays power and wisdom, but Ainz can only see it as a cute hamster. This has also made him question his aesthetic point of view, as he is the only one who seems to think that way.
Now that Hamuske is gone, many creatures that didn't dare approach his territory might end up attacking Enri's Village. That's why the young pharmacist asks her to join his team to protect the home of the woman he loves. Ainz is touched by this, but he is not too worried because among Nazarick's plans is to control the entire forest and he thinks the village will be safe.
As I already mentioned, one of Ainz's big problems is that he sees everything from a Salaried Office Worker's perspective and he have a hard time understanding other types of situations. When Nabe almost cut his own neck to atone for talking too much, Ainz was actually in Shock, but since he is an Undead he acquired an emotional suppression that calms him down whenever he is close to losing control and managed to maintain "the appearance of a ruler who knows everything”, which is the role he always plays in front of NPCs.
While the cgi is fine in some fights, you get used to it. Overlord is really good for the characters, thoughts AND fights, as well as the interconnected lore sprinkled between episodes and seasons, stuff pays off if you keep these details in mind
