THAT IS NOT ONLY WICKED COOL!! BUT LITERALLY INGENIOUS!! WOW!! I HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS ACTUALLY LOOKING AT FIRST GLANCE!! BUT AFTER WATCHING?!? 😮 WOW!!! SUPER FUNKY, AWESOME, CRAZY COOL!!😲👍 LOL😉 THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!! YOU'VE TAUGHT ME SO MUCH!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA!!☺️
You never cease to amaze the simplicity you give in your videos. You make something that looks so complicated and complex, but you show us in such a way where it is extremely simple and easy to follow. :') Thank you.
I adore this elf star, once I have some wire I'm going to attempt it. I was thinking if you had a small mat where you focus your camera frame you would know that if your hands are working within the perimeter you wouldn't go off camera. Alternatively, you could draw a frame on your desk and work within that. Thank you for making this tutorial. For something so easily made it has a wonderful intricate effect.
Beautuful, i just love watching your videos !!! They are so relaxing., & easy to follow so we can make our own, & with our own little twist on them. Thank you so much !!!
I have been binge watching all of your videos since I found you last week and I just love, love, LOVE your creativity, your positivity, and your videos. I love chainmaille and I am going to have to get my rings out and try this one. :) I am going to try to make a smaller version with smaller rings and beads and see how it works. Thank you sooo much for all you do and keep your awesome videos coming. You are a blessing and a gift!!!
You are so very welcome, Yvonne. I most definitely will let you know how it goes. I worked on it yesterday and put my own lil twist on it that I would love your opinion on!! :) I hope you are having a sparkly day!!!
I don't have any experience with this but the pattern doesn't look too complicated to me and it turned out so beautiful! thank you for teaching me so many things I never saw before! you really encourage me to get into crafting again
I love your tutorials! I've been wire weaving for a little over 2 yrs I found your tutorials about 4 months ago I love just watching you give me ideas I was getting burned out I think....I have not don't chainmaille looks like fun! And I love your bright outlook and how you are always happy! I hope one day we can meet at a show!
I know this is an older video :) Like the Pendant a lot, thank you. I have noticed some use a focal spot (a sticker, painted spot, etc.,) that won't compete for focus, on their work surface. This helps to keep from going out of frame. You do great work and I always enjoy your videos. Will try this one soon. Have a great day.
Love this. I've been making chain jewelry for a while, now. It's a very fun way to unwind. Your channel has some very interesting techniques I'd like to take a crack at. Starting with this one.
Since watching your tutorial, I have made 5 elf stars so far. They are very addicting to make :) This was the very first chainmaille item I had ever made and you were very easy to follow. Thank you from the bottom of this newb's heart!
OMG thankyou so much for this tutorial. you are so awsome. i just love all your tutorials. you make everything look so easy. but we know it isnt. LOL but thankyou for taking the time to share all your experience and awsome talent. love ya girl.
Thank you for a very clear demo, still plucking up courage to start, but I feel as though I understand and will do it with pearls. Hope to see more of your demos. Thank you
WOW Yvonne!!You're so amazing! I get so excited when I watch your tutorial videos, as I always learn something awesome and new!! Thank you so very much for these great videos, and Blessed Be!! )O(
Love the pendant. I really enjoy the byzantine pattern. Have made several bracelets with the pattern. Hoping these "elf star" will be easy for me. TFS!
Those kinda look like the zoras sapphire from zelda! haha Definitely going to try these. I have cute 8mm ceramic blue flower beads that would fit perfect.
dad gave me another soldering iron this weekend. after I get the cabochons done I will have to try it out. I put some together, but soldering it will take some time. I'm having great difficulty with my pliers though. they are scissor hinged. sucks. gonna have to get boxed hinged ones like you have. the ones I bought were good for trying it out to see if I liked the projects I found, but its time to invest! lol
Hey Yvonne! I just recently found you and I’m so enjoying binge watching you create! Thank you so much for sharing your talent and creativity! Hugs and blessings!
WoW Von I really like that one I'm going to have to get some jump rings from you real soon good news hun I finally got a water heater after not having one for over a year-and-a-half the Goddess is great many blessings to you two *huggs from Echo & me*
Thank you so much for sharing this. You made it so clear and easy to see each step. Could you please put a list of the number of each ring and the sizes in the description and possibly with the metric size too. Thanks
Another great video! So simple, but looks complex! I'm not sure if this would work, but maybe if you taped a "frame" on your work surface, it could help you keep from moving out of the camera frame. That's got to be a real challenge. It's nice to have the clear closeup, though.
Hi very nice work you do :) some questions, the milimeter of the 3 different sizes of the wire?(think the medium and small was the same, and what diameter is it on those? and will 1mm thickness of wire be enough to get a compact star? if I order jumprings, what 3 sizes you prefer to make that start? didnt understand what you said in the video :)
I wanted to do this for a quite long time and now I'm finally made it🙌🎉 I just found it a little tricky to add the beads and the two big rings on the bottom keep moving inwards...😅
Elf Star seems like an appropriate name for this. I would like to try it with a mobius flower in place of the triple ring. I'm really curious about what that would look like or if it would even lay correctly.
Thank you for this awesome charm. I followed along with you, with no problem! You used a tool, the fine tip bent nose plier...where can I find one of them? I haven't seen this before. I just recently got a fine tip round nose and I love them! Again, Thank you for your wonderful videos!
heya, Denise! I got them at Touchstone Beads in Springfield, MO on clearance; I haven't been able to find them anywhere else, but when I do I am buying every pair I can get and putting them for sale in my online store!!!
I like to make things and give them away in December. I just did a complete sort of all my materials and the elf star will be an item. I need to know how to finish them. Where is a place to shop for very narrow velvet ribbon? Do you think that would be good to hang them or would you think something else would be better? I'm planning to use additional rings for bail. If this weren't for a lot of people I wouldn't bother you. Thank you from Diane.
Thank you. This one was more difficult to follow, it went a little fast for me and it was difficult to see where you were hooking the rings. Seemed rushed. Anyhow, I love the pendant and I’m gonna watch it again later. I love your tutorials!
Hi, thank you for the tutorial, it's amazing! I tried replicating it but my byzantine weave doesn't hold its shape. I am using 18 ga 5mm jumprings which I had to make because unfortunately where I'm from I could not find any. Could you give me any advice on how to make my byzantine weake keep its shape?
Thanks so much for this chainmaille pendant tutorial. It's beautiful! For this small project would I buy the little bags of jewelry findings at the craft store or are these chainmaille rings something I would need to order? These small projects are just perfect for me.
heya, Crystal! I think it depends a lot on the brand you buy at the craft store; some of the rings are very thin; I don't think it would hurt to try it out, though!
I recall in one of your videos you mentioned the online shop that you buy your jumprings from, but I can't remember which video it was. Could you give a link to that shop here?
Hi cute ! I loved the pendant is beautiful, my question is what the measurements of the rings mean? some suppliers handle them by millimeters, how do I convert them to millimeters?
What are "saw cut" rings? and what mm's rings did ya use? I've taught myself to learn about mm's and that is what I most recognize. Oh yeah, exciting news... wrapped my first tiny crystal tonight, rainbow crystal, it is too sorry to show anybody, but I did it!
THAT IS NOT ONLY WICKED COOL!! BUT LITERALLY INGENIOUS!! WOW!!
I HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS ACTUALLY LOOKING AT FIRST GLANCE!! BUT AFTER WATCHING?!? 😮 WOW!!!
SUPER FUNKY, AWESOME, CRAZY COOL!!😲👍
LOL😉
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!! YOU'VE TAUGHT ME SO MUCH!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA!!☺️
You never cease to amaze the simplicity you give in your videos. You make something that looks so complicated and complex, but you show us in such a way where it is extremely simple and easy to follow.
:')
Thank you.
Wow, thank you Marla! It is my pleasure to share what I have learned, so thank you for watching :)
WOW! That is like watching a chain male puzzle getting put together! You are SCARY talented:)!
hehe, just lotsa practice, but thanks! :)
I adore this elf star, once I have some wire I'm going to attempt it. Alternatively, you could draw a frame on your desk and work within that. Thank you for making this tutorial. For something so easily made it has a wonderful intricate effect.
Thanks for the excellent idea Xynarah! I will have to try that :)
I just love that pendant with the blue beads. awesome sauce.
Beautuful, i just love watching your videos !!! They are so relaxing., & easy to follow so we can make our own, & with our own little twist on them. Thank you so much !!!

you are an excellent teacher! Thank you for your tutorial, that is a beautiful piece and I definitively need to try it for Mother's Day! 😊
Love this pendant and will be trying it. Do struggle with the American sizes. Love the celtic bales to go with it. Beautifully explained demonstration
I love the click clack sounds of your dog's nails in the background lol.😂
I really love watching your videos!!! You explain so much in detail and very helpful! Thank you!
OMG thankyou so much for this tutorial. you are so awsome. i just love all your tutorials. you make everything look so easy. but we know it isnt. LOL but thankyou for taking the time to share all your experience and awsome talent. love ya girl.

Love this tutorial! Thank you !
I LOVE the "look" of the Elf Star. I plan on using dyed 1 CM felt balls for the beads. They are very light and should make a great earring.
That is freaking awesome! Great Job!
Thank you, talonora!
really pretty
Thank you, Janet!
Thank you for a very clear demo, still plucking up courage to start, but I feel as though I understand and will do it with pearls.
Hope to see more of your demos. Thank you
Love it! Looks like the spiritual stone of water ( Zora's sapphire ) from ocarina of time

Those kinda look like the zoras sapphire from zelda! haha Definitely going to try these. I have cute 8mm ceramic blue flower beads that would fit perfect.
ooooo, nice! The look even more the part if I use gold toned rings :-D
I'm totally gonna try it this weekend with the rings you sent me! I don't know if I have any 8mm beads, but I DO have a soldering iron! LOL!
very nice!!! I'd love to see how this comes out soldered!!
dad gave me another soldering iron this weekend. after I get the cabochons done I will have to try it out. I put some together, but soldering it will take some time. I'm having great difficulty with my pliers though. they are scissor hinged. sucks. gonna have to get boxed hinged ones like you have. the ones I bought were good for trying it out to see if I liked the projects I found, but its time to invest! lol

Bellísimo, me encantó, 👌👍👏👏👏👏👏🙌💕 Abrazos desde Argentina

Love it. Where to get your jump rings. Do not have a company yet
Love it!
grande video grande tutorial grazie
Thank you! I've been hoping you would do a tutorial for this.
hehe, right on!!
I wanted to do this for a quite long time and now I'm finally made it🙌🎉
I just found it a little tricky to add the beads and the two big rings on the bottom keep moving inwards...😅
Byzantine is the only weave I know by heart. I love how you've used it here. It's on my to-do list. Why are the holes in some beads so freaking small?
Elf Star seems like an appropriate name for this. I would like to try it with a mobius flower in place of the triple ring. I'm really curious about what that would look like or if it would even lay correctly.
really beautiful :)
Thank you, Kristin!
That's pretty but are you giving the ID or OD ring size? Thanks.
Thank you for this awesome charm. I followed along with you, with no problem! You used a tool, the fine tip bent nose plier...where can I find one of them? I haven't seen this before. I just recently got a fine tip round nose and I love them! Again, Thank you for your wonderful videos!

I’m not her but there’s lots of places to find very thin ribbons. I’ve seen them at michaels, Walmart, Joanns anywhere with fabric.
T y. I need to know where to find bails too. Some of my stars need bail rather than rings. Will try not to bother you again. @@BubbleBunnyy
This pregnant is so beautiful. Thank you for the tutorial! What is the size of the bail?
Thank you. This one was more difficult to follow, it went a little fast for me and it was difficult to see where you were hooking the rings. Seemed rushed. Anyhow, I love the pendant and I’m gonna watch it again later.
I love your tutorials!
Wow that’s so beautiful I really enjoyed watching and learning with you.
how cool is this . I love it and I will do it . It also looks like it might work for earrings? Love you bunches Lynne
Heya, Lynne!
That pendant looks like the Zora's Sapphire from the legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
hehe, even more so when I make it with gold toned rings :)
A great tutorial. Yvonne, I don't have audio, would you please share with me the sizes of the rings. You are very creative, thank you.
Love it 😍
Thanks, Margie!
I see you sell chainmaille rings in your store. I will keep that in mind.
crystalheart9 b
Great tutorial! Have you considered making beads for this out of polymer clay? Could end up with some really cool effects
ooo, that is an excellent idea!!
Love your designs, Yvonne! Will you please post a materials list for the project below the video? :)
Use gold coloured rings instead and you have the Zora Sapphire from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time!
Yass!!
Hi Yvonne, I love this pendant! I was wondering if the gauges of jump rings are swg or awg? Thank you in advance!
¡Gracias!
so so cool. Now I need to make one. hahaha
hehe, yass!
you are evil!! hahaha I WILL make one. let me see if I have any jumps rings to use or if I have to make some that might work.
Done and posted over at Lorehand Creations. :P
Beautiful ❤️🇩🇰
