    I so miss the Aussie accent. I lived in Melbourne for a while. I'm in Canada. Your channel was just shared on a FB chain maille group and I just love this necklace. I'm completely new to this and I hope to give this project a try soon.

    This makes a sweet customizable pendant! Made mine with some really thin welded inner rings and was very happy to finally have a use for these rings. I thought I was going to have to just store them away but I thought, "No I'll look through the Aussie Maille tutorials first!" Amazing as always. :)

      That is very cool. I love finding a use for things I bought in the past and they didn't initially work. Deb

      I know it is quite randomly asking but does anybody know of a good website to stream newly released movies online ?

    Another good idea is to make a necklace all the way around with that pattern.

    Fantastic. Now you have me running around the house, measuring everything with caliper, trying to find 13mm mandrel. The wooden spoons are too thin, the heater pipe too thick.... :/

    I LOVE THIS! I'm going to run and get my rings out right now. Maybe I'll hang a little charm or stone in the center of the pendant. Thank you so much! 🤗🧡💙

      Thank you. The nail polish is from China Glaze and the colour is Deviantly Daring. I was pretty happy with it also. Deb

    I love this design and you demonstrate it so wonderfully! I'd like to make this and even have the smaller rings I'd need, but I'm in the US and I can't seem to find the 13mm rings I'd need. I looked at buying them through you but shipping is $27.25 in shipping - almost 7x the cost of the two rings I'd need. Would a 1.6mm (14AWG) with 1/2" ID (12.7mm) work for this or would it bee too small? Thank you!

    Hi. I want to make this in 18g rings for the byzantine. I'm wondering what you recommend for the sizes for the outer and inner rings?

    I tried the 1.2 mm wire with 4 mm ID and it is too tight. Only 4.25 mm ID works for the 1.2 mm wire. and she has 3.9 ID. Am I wrong?

    You could even make your own byzantine chain to match the pendant. Is there a way to make a byzantine ring?

    • @AussieMaillers

      Yes, but it is a bit bulky and would need very fine gauge.

    Mmmmm. I don’t think the big ring is 13 mm ID. I just bought the material to make this 5/32 jumps rings and the 13 mm seems too small for it. It seems more like 15 mm ID. Any comments. ??

    • @AussieMaillers
      @AussieMaillers  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's 13.00mmID as we don't cut a ring that is 15.00mmID. We don't own a mandrel that is 15.00mmID. Springback would make the actual ring ID closer to 13.6mm (don't have one on hand to measure) but they aren't 15.00mmID, not possible.

      Aussie Maille 15 mm worked for me. 13 mm too small. Not possible

    • @AussieMaillers
      @AussieMaillers  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I' m glad the 15mm worked for you, but as I stated, we don't cut 15mm ID rings, the ring that I used on the video is 13mmID.
