My favourite !! I remember riding on one just like that in grade 9 , it was on its last year as a spare. The S series is my fav. First one I rode on was a 1983 gas engine Wayne S1700.
I know u have lots on the go and mind but That 466 should have a coolant conditioner/filter , I’d check the ph level of the coolant and change the filter with a Fleetguard WF2077 , I’ve had a few of these in tandem dump trucks , one had cavitation of the cylinder liners 😓
Very nice find sir. A few things you’ve mentioned: - Those super slow flashers are an old vehicle thing. I ran with a fire department that had a 1992 Spartan fire engine that had slow signals.. but that slow. - The sticking throttle pedal is another old vehicle thing. If I don’t drive my 1988 Peterbilt in more than 3 weeks or use WD40 on the petal, it’ll start sticking. - I’m gonna guess that Hagerty’s gave you the green light to insure..? - I know it’d be quite a challenge, but if you can find what it was numbered prior to coming to the church, I’d consider that, otherwise, I like 101.
Thank you!! Txstreetman pointed me in the right direction on the throttle problem and the turn signal flasher. I have a new flasher ordered. I'm guessing the original number was 44, as one of the key tags still says that on there. I am probably going to go with that number for that reason.
honestly, for the stop sign it might be better to run electric or get a modern kit that includes a flasher built in (eg, LED retrofit kit for old stop sign)
@@BigJoe21211 I guess. I am a Thomas fan but I don't know everything about Thomas's or any of the brands. I can tell their bodies specs and that kind of stuff.
I love the high head room on the S Series. Most of the Thomas S 1800s I see are low headroom. I would love a bus like yours.

That thing runs and drives damn good for how old it is!
They definitely don't make them like they used to!!
I notice it's kinda a smooth ride.
This is my dream bus.
Same
I'm so glad you have this one.
Me too!! It's a very neat bus.
@@Project681 No offense but I think this may be better than 147.
@@Bus-16 in a lot of ways, yes.
Nice bus Adam. I rode on one of those when i was young.
THAT'S A GOOD LOOKING BUS ❤❤
Nice bus Adam!
I see it has the mount for the DT466 hood emblem, shame it’s missing.
Nice bus!

I didn't know that Thomas made Jack knife doors

Idk why but I wanna see a rv conversion
Awesome bus
Don’t know what it is but that’s always been my favorite front end
I LIKE THE 66 PASSENGER BUSES ❤❤
Texastreetman had the same Thomas international school bus but his has the dta 360
And no jackknife door
Have you tried the warning light flasher to see if it works?
Wish it was a stick especially being from 86
THAT CAN BE ALL FIX NO PROBLEM
Farty Six
The grate on the roof is a fan. It should have a switch on the inst. panel says rear fan or vent
I hope it still works!
I REALLY LOVE 😍 THOES OLDER MODEL SCHOOL 🚸 BUS 🚍 ❤❤❤
I RODE ON THOES KIND OF BUS 🚍 WHEN I WAS GOING TO HIGH SCHOOL 🚸
Oh.. I thought it was international 3800. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️😁😁😁
Do 8601 for the number
Are the wheels under the bus?
Is that your new bus
Its the blue bullet
Like txstreetman
This bus is a blue one! Wonder where this one is from?
Aurora Public Schools in Colorado, originally. Then it eventually ended up in Canton, Ohio as a church bus.
@@Project681 I see. Thanks! Can you get the electric stop arm for this bus?
@@schoolbusguy2025 I might eventually!
@@Project681 Ok.

I got it your bus number will be #665 it's year build 86 it's a 65 passenger
will you make it look like a school bus again?
I'd like to eventually, but it depends on my income haha
Did you buy that bus?😊
Yep!
How awesome! I like your church bus!
HOW ABOUT 8604 THE NUMBER?
Amazing! What’s the top speed on it?
About 60 😅
give it the number it had when it who's brand new
What’s the top speed on that baby?
It'll do 55 comfortably. Sometimes you can get it up to 60. I've gotten it to 65 once, downhill with a tail wind.
@@Project681 Is there a way to make it faster?
@BillyShermann I might try a couple of things but I don't have much hope. It's probably due to the rear end gearing
WHERE CAN I BUY A BUS 🚍 LIKE YOURS MAN I REALLY LIKE YOUR BUS 🚍 ❤❤
Why Are You Yelling
386360
Basically bus three, but if it was working and was at Thomas instead of Wayne
