Yes, I was actually planning on doing some videos revisiting some highlights of the past year. And the sleeving video probably won't happen until after new years because buying that many sleeves is expensive and I need to save up
Please. Just sleeve your 2007 decks, if nothing else. The Pokémon Star are probably the most expensive World Championship cards to replace, and your comments in the deck collection video seem to imply that you play 2007 more than all the other retro formats combined.
Make it a long-term goal to sleeve up these decks year by year, starting with most played/most valuable. Who know? Perhaps after sleeving half your decks, you’ll realize you use all the other decks too lightly to justify the cost, and you’ll avoid the buyer’s guilt of sleeving everything from 2004 to 2019 all in one go. You might decide, for example, that it’s not worth sleeving 2004, 2012, and anything from 2015 onward. Or you might decide you only need to sleeve your 20 favorite decks because you’ll wear them to threads even if you never bend a crease.

If you were wondering why my comment didn't seem quite right, it's because I was desperately trying to convince you to sleeve something within the next few months instead of waiting until the next decade to begin. how do you balance the raid boss’ deck (if playing the “full” raid format)? this format seems super cool, i was looking for a commander type multiplayer format to play with a group of friends but this doesn’t seem like a bad alternative!
Honestly, it just takes some practicing to fine-tune the list. The thing that really decides if it's a strong deck or not is how many draw- trainers you use because it's possible to string together a combo of draw cards and just overwhelm the raid team. I played a game once where the raid boss drew over 20 cards in one turn and destroyed us because it got all the energy it needed.
I thought it would be funny to include Roark and Whitney in a raid deck. Imagine drawing 7 cards off of one Whitney! My idea probably isn’t healthy for the raid deck’s balance, though.
Erika’s Perfume would also be an interesting edition: it’s not like the raid boss will be spreading in most instances, but imagine if it could fill up your bench with extraneous basic Pokémon.
