Hi, First of all, I did not know about this Market profile concept. So thanks for all 10 presentations. Now I am watching these for second time. I have a query below. While evaluating who is in Control of profile, you have mentioned that If you are a Positional Trader, you need to take a wider profile. It should not be of 30 min comprising of 6 hrs of trading. Probably it should be of week profile in which 1 TPO would be 180 Mins or 240 mins. I would like to know which Trading Chart site you can use to set up this. I tried gocharting.com. I could see Market profile Indicator but I was not able to understand how to set this Weekly profile with 180 mins or 240 mins of TPO. Can you help ? Is there any other Software that you would like to suggest.

Hi Prakash, you can use Market Delta, Ninjatrader, Amibroker, InvestRT , Sierra chart for Market profile. Sierra chart and Amibroker are most cost efficient. I haven’t tried Bell Tpo so I have no clue about the same. Tc

Then, the slide about EXTREMES (TAIL) states that: - tail at UPPER means that SELLER entered the market and - tail at lower side means that BUYER entered the market Isn´t in fact the other way around?
Hi Ivan, It depends on where the Profile closing has happened. For e.g., If you see a long tail at the lower side and you see a closing near day's high, it would mean that OTF Buyers have entered the market and driven prices higher from where they were. Similarly, if you see tail at Upper side and closing happens at day's low, this would mean OTF Sellers have entered the market at higher level and taken the price down to day's low. Interpretation of a Profile can be done in many ways. It is the "Closing Price" within a profile which gives the overall Profile meaning. Tc

Hi Madhav, look into InvestRT (Linn software).
You should be able to customize everything on it.
