Honestly, for me, as a very visually forward learner, it really helps to see and understand what's happening. I know the idea of someone learning to trade "visually" sounds terrifying, but it's not. The audio is very important to visual learning despite it's name. Of all the videos and people I've watched so far on trading, yours have the least amount of filler material, and the most amount of simulated experience, with a good narrative.

If you're feeling FOMO, you've already missed out. If you were too slow to get in at the money spot, then you don't deserve to participate in the move; you only deserve to watch it play out. This goes for me too.

FOMO aside, this is shorting double top with possible bearish divergence at resistance. I would wait for the structure to change to bearish and get in on the pullback.

I'm confused, if you are shorting why not wait until it goes down more instead of cover it so fast?

    • @claytrader

Personally after it threw that inverse hammer, I would wait until the closure of the next candle being red as confirmation then entered with the top of that red candle (not the wick) as my SL. Then I’ll wait until a 1R move down before resetting my SL to break even and then look to take 1st partial of 50% at 2R.
