The 180 second looper of the mooer was the deciding factor for me. Well, I'm buying the mooer ge100 as a temporary multi fx pedal while I save up for a much more expensive pedal

I think actually both pedals sounds better than in this video! Here are some differeces from a user perspective: - Mooer has more modulation effects and drive pedals, but has less amp models and has only one cabinet simulator (you can turn it on and off). - NuX has more cabinet simulations, more accurate modelling (in general). - The mooers"s user interface is better for live performances (on NuX you can press buttons and kick knobs by accident, because they're too close together). In this aspect the NuX MG-200 is an option too: it has better switches than the MG-100, has a control switch to turn on / off effects, and you can use an external expression pedal, but sounds diffrent than the MG-100. - Mooer has less noise, but on NuX you can make miracles with Noise Gate - you can whipe away the unwanted noise while keep the dynamics of the playing. - Mooers factory presets are more usable. You can create great patches on the NuX, but you have to do your own. - NuX's looper is syncronised to drum machine. Mooer's not! - Both pedals has bugs, but any of them is a really great choice for home usage. ;) I'm also thinking about to make a comparison video of Mooer GE-100, NuX MG-100 and NuX MG-200.

- NuX's looper is syncronised to drum machine. Mooer's not! Please elaborate : it only has a 40 sec loop vs Mooer 180 sec but its synced - Does this make recording a song with multiple loops into the Mooer pedal with drums an issue .... ? PS: Can U record any live sound from a Mic into either of these & stack on top of loops ?
Enjoyed this comparison, crazy that there are two so similar units available... For me personally, I just want the best sounding clean Fender amp models... in your opinion, having heard both in person, which did you think did the Fender amp models best? Thanks.
I think nux has a cabinet and amp modeller. If yes ill vouch for the nux. I own the mfx 10 but not the mg 100. I like it clean sounding , for the crunch and ddistortions those are adjustable. It is harder to create a clean patch. Just my preference though. Still dependent on your ears. For my nux ive.created an acoustic patch that sounds like a real steel acoustic, if the mg100 can be like that then it is bang for the buck.
Cleaner sounds nux takes it...distortion mooer takes it. Just my opinion. I was just looking for a cheap looper/drum machine/metronome. If the nux had the 180 seconds of loop recording I would go for it because of the clearer clean sound.
Yeah I think they are really quite different. But like I said, lots of ppl were wanting a comparison so who am I to ignore the voice of the people :) #gearfacts
NUX sounds better but Moore got more functions and it's good user-friendly big display. Also got drum patterns and metronome to practice. If someone going for sound they may chose NUX but if someone wants more function and practicing alone or learning then Moore is the better option I think.
NUX MG-100, I have the same pedal, sounds pretty good. Am very happy with it....At the beginning it has some learning curves on how to use it but you'll come to it overtime....IMHO....
Just got the Mooer today as backup for my old Digitec RP50 that I use for busking. Just wanted to say that the "Touch Wah" will not satisfy anyone looking for Jerry Garcia tones. The one in the RP50 is way better for that specific purpose.
To my ears on the clean sounds the Nux sounded 'ice picky', maybe too much treble? The Nux was also very fizzy sounding when modelling overdrive and distortion. The Mooer had a nicer more 'mid' biased tone when modelling overdrive and distortion which I preferred. My amp would do better clean tones than either pedal so I would choose the Mooer over the Nux. That's only my opinion though! Thanks for the interesting comparison video, very useful to hear the difference..
I would appreciate an advise here: I have on my list Joyo GEM Box, Joyo GEM Box II, Nux MG-100, Nux MG-200 and MOOER GE100. I could eventually stretch to MOOER GE150, if convinced it is really worth the extra bucks. It is for my son, which is absolute beginner as guitar player, but it is already very much into music (plays piano and keyboards). My priorities are: sound quality, easy operation and reasonably sturdy construction, in that order. Having infinite effect options is not a priority. I prefer something that does fewer things, but does them well. Any hints on right choice?
