Another name for “red-state salvation” is “damnation”. Boom. One thing we really need to hear is the truth that the Truth we know works even if we are the only person on earth to know Him. Yes loving others means working for bringing the Kingdom, but “believe and be saved” must be in the Bible 200 times. “Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free” (even if the society isn’t knowing Him too). Not diminishing the great commission. Just saying the Good News of salvation is not diminished by the ups and downs of the great commission’s progress.
