  • Need to apologies for my swearing, and the way how i keep saying like etc.......when i get nervous i say like and um alot...
    This is just kind of a rant in a way, just how I feel about somethings with my condition, things that i struggle to talk to people about, things I am too scared to say, but for some reason I can say it on camera for how ever many people watch this video, which is kind of scary!
    But its about how to tell others and stuff, I know this probably hasn't helped anyone at all, but i just needed to say it all and get it all out!
    Don't give me lots of hate comments as what is the point? Seriously?

    You're so beautiful and genuine, i love this video. You're asking all the questions that are always swimming in my head and the anxiety just builds and builds till you feel like you're suffocating, i'm sure all AIS sufferers experience it. I hope you're in a much better place and happier :)

    Imy, that was beautiful and honest and I'm so sorry you're feeling lonely. I wanted to let you know I really admire you. Anything else I could have said, you said in the video... You're very insightful.

    Okay, I don’t have AIS, but I do have a rare genetic disease, so I hope my thoughts will prove helpful.
    You are more than your “condition”. You are a person, unique and extraordinary. Never forget that.

    You communicated clearly, even if the words were difficult to find. Trust that the audience completely understood your struggle, self-doubt, and fear, and loved you the more as a result.
    Imy, in the midst of our challenges, others appear much more together. This is an illusion, for all have something they're hiding, some secret that if known, would make them a pariah.
    Your gift is your wonderful openness - Don't lose it. You have encouraged each of your viewers.
    Thanks.

    I think that you being able to talk about your feelings may be helping more people than you think. Maybe the more people that talk about their ais helps the ones that can't. Maybe they see that their not alone and can give them more strength. I really admire your strength . You are a beautiful person inside and out and any man will be lucky to have you. Im not saying this to make you feel better. They are my true feelings. Chin up girl. : )

    I would not understand the condition because I never heard about it and then much later on I took college level Biology and they cover genetics and many of these sex syndromes were discussed. There are many women that can't have children and they have ovaries and uterus. The joy of motherhood is really the nurturing part more than the "pregnant" part.

    Just be watching your video and you sound like any other girl going through a bad hormone time. My sister and I had the same sort of conversation the other day about her meeting someone and she hasn't got AIS. Life is to short to be worrying about what ifs. Go out there, embrace the world and smile. There are lots of children who need someone to love and care for them and you seem to have those qualities. So when Mr Right comes along you can adopt. I am sending you a big HUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Darling ! I am 30 years old and have just stumbled into this genetic enigma. In my heart I know I have it. You are a beautiful woman and if you feel pain let it out . I always wanted to have children and it made said I cant . You have helped me so much by voicing you feelings for this genetic enigma. People who are closed off from there heart are going to be horrible . My heart goes out to you !

    Love yourself........there is a place in the cave of the heart ...called the place beyond all sorrow, I go there, a place of the spirit beyond this human form.........it is hard not to have children, but you can give your nurturing spirit.......you are a lovely being because you are helping others with your honesty.......try to let your heart define you....genetics are just a start in life.....you had a different journey to becoming a woman that's all..... The medical profession needs to open up and redefine stuff......they are seriously out of touch with reality....be happy and peaceful....there is a loving partner out there for you...when you are both ready you will find each other xxxxx

    Continued, there is no reason that my son could not have any kids but he just wants to adopt he says there are so many kids in the world that need a loving home.
    Don't worry about not being about to have a child, it is over rated, and ruins your figure and never mind what breast feeding does to you!!
    A baby kicking after a while hurts and gets you down, all you can think about is getting over with things and giving birth.
    I wish you lived in Florida, my son Andrew Philip ( google him)

    You need to be honest upfront. Some people have issues about race or religion and by being upfront you can filter out those who have a problem with you whatever the issue may be.
    Don't worry there are plenty of people who won't have a problem with you as long as you are honest.

    I'll admit I was pretty phobic about this for a while, but looking at a beautiful woman such as yourself my phobia of intersex conditions have waned and my knowledge has vastly improved. I'm sure no positive you'll meet a like minded person out there

  • @Banestalk

    Some of this has been said ibefore, but it bears repeating:
    Don't let this quirk of your biology define you. It's only as important as you make it. If others choose to obsess over it, that's THEIR problem, not yours. Don't let it damage your self-esteem!
    Consequently, maybe you shouldn'tthink in terms of having "The Talk". Rather, just drop the fact that you're infertile into some conversation (the inevitable discussion of relatives' ailments makes a good opportunity).

    • @alexojideagu
      @alexojideagu 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      The problem is her not being able to have children. You can't say someone is not a "real man" because that's an issue for them. Some men don't want kids so they will fit.

    • @Auggies1956
      @Auggies1956 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      You took my comment out of context. I was supporting her feelings, that there are men out there would have her, no matter her condition.

  • @Dsturb85
    @Dsturb85 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    It is NOT creepy, what you are saying is a legit concern but in your case it really doesn't apply. The only example I can say is Jamie Lee Curtis she is "apparently" AIS, the way she looks, she neither looks male nor female she is on the fence so to speak.
    You are beautiful looking, and have a lovely personality, there is no reason to not find a guy that would love you and marry you. I can tell you that my son, has been telling me for years not to expect any kids from him. He wants to adopt.

  • @misscurlycarrie

    Its so hard isnt it. When do you tell them...straight away?..."hi im carrie and I cant have kids". Lol. I used to really worry about this but i guess i dont have to so much mow cos my disability is real

  • @mephistophelico

    is it really possible already? I mean, theoretically possible, to create an artificial egg from stem cells? From someone who is genetically male? And then, the child would have your OWN DNA? Thanks a lot

  • @Banestalk
    @Banestalk 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    If they want to know more, if you don't want to give them the details at that point (which you have every right to!), just say "Oh, it's a genetic thing. Lot's of medical mumbo-jumbo I didn't understand, but the gist is that my uterus and ovaries never developed properly".
    If you take away only one thing from my comments, take this: It's easier said then done, but try to think less about how others (or even you) see/define you, and just be who you want to be. Truth is what we make of reality.

      paul ibarra Just wanted to make sure you understood the difference, genetically speaking. Not to say there is anything wrong being born as an 'intersex' person and/or a person with Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome. But there is a huge difference, socially speaking, about how one lives their life according to their biology.

    I see a lot of similarities in my history and in yours, i was born with a sexual differentiation disorder of the brain which is a kind of intersex condition that made my brain typically female with a male anatomy so i was raised as a boy and at 14 i was so diagnosed with this disorder that caused me gender dysphoria so i had to take a medical treatment to have a proper female puberty like i was meant to have, and genital surgery in order to get a typically female anatomy. Unfortunaly nowadays i really struggle with the fact of telling guys i am dating of my situation because i fear rejection based on my story or the fact i can’t get pregnant. It is really tough !!

    I think you you are very pretty, and I have no interest in having children. Meeting a girl just like you would be a fantasy of mine. I guess if you meet a guy who has the kid thing out of the way immediately, would help alot. And the hate comments? Just ignorant individuals.

    Couldn't you just tell people that you're barren? I mean, people would understand that. Lots of women are barren. If you need to elaborate you could say you have a condition that you needed to have your reproductive organs removed for. I mean, I can understand that when you say "I have CAIS", people jump to ridiculous conclusions, but I would think just saying you're barren would be all the explanation people would need. "It's upsetting, I don't want to talk about it" if they get pushy?

    I just wanted to ask how many attractive guys have asked you out since you started posting these videos? You're gorgeous and have a genetic disorder that almost makes you 2x more of a woman because of your body's inability to respond to testosterone. If you lived in the states, I would marry you. lol.
