I second that, I have used all of those in my play throughs and they all work great. Another one that I was surprised I didn't see on this list is the XM2076. According to the mod page it is a fallout universe update to the XM2010 that he did feature. That one works flawlessly in or out of power armor, has custom animations and is seriously fun to use. Plus, if you're like me and you use mods to increase the damage NPCs and creatures can do, the XM2076 has the ability to adjust the damage and range to fit your play style and load order.
The Mauser Family Rifle Pack and the Lee Enfield No.4 Mk.1 mods are arguably superior mods and also have historical relevance, I'd love to see them reviewed.
Handmade Anti Material is a fantastic weapon. Tons of fun to use but crazy damage. Can be rechambered for other ammos but all are considerably too powerful
@12:18. The Mod Author wanted a slow reload so he just increased the number in the reload setting in the esp. But because of the jank-engine that reload setting just slows down the animations making it look like slow motion when the setting is high. It's a common mistake MAs make when they want to balance a weapon by giving it a slower reload. Best just to not mess with it and either create custom slower animations or balance the weapon in other ways.
Whatever issue you have with the SPR is 100% on your end. For me and literally everyone else the character uses the bolt when scoped in. Since this is a review I'd expect a little bit more research to be done before calling the mod a "piece of shit" (and the research I'm referring to isn't necessarily spending who knows how long troubleshooting, you can literally just watch other reviews of that exact mod to see if it works for them)
I've seen several comments on the Nexus mod page by people who have the exact same issue. It's definitely not a problem 100% unique to me. I think it might be caused by the framerate being under 60 (I run the game with a 30 FPS cap) or by not using Tactical Reload. Either way, it's still completely broken in power armor.
@@PancuroniumB Definitely not a framerate issue, since my framerate is almost always below 60 and it works just fine for me, but either way it's not a problem with the mod itself but some sort of incompatibility or something like that
Same here, when i started played again i install all those patches to fix power armor foot step bug but now when i fix my mod list and started over again i delete all those patches because i realize that 120 hours on playtime i have spent less than 10 minutes on power armor.
I hope you do a part 2 of this video. There are so many more awesome bolt action mods. I do love the way you absolutely destroy the shit mods though. We have enough youtubers going on about tHe AbSolutLY InSanE mods, which are just pretty mediocre. Fun to hear someone rip into them for a change.
i am using the barret from combined arms ,due to the damage output , at lvl 150 , the gun says it deal around 900 dmg per shot , all the other sniper rifle are under 700
I hate how CoD like the gun side of Fallout mods are I just want a basic new bolty. I don’t need XCVT800 mega tank buster with 50 anime skin options and charms
I just want a pack with some lore friendly mod from old fallouts to actually fill the gaps in the vanilla system rather than just add needlessly. Aso integrated into the game properly. Not having to install a million mods.
the AX-50 by Tooun is so much better in my opinion, better animations and sounds plus with their inspect weapon mod you can even have a cool inspect animation
With the comment regarding the loose files, is it always a good practice to package them into a BA2? I use MO2 so it has a built in tool for that, but I'm not exactly sure how it works
No you dont want to pack everything into BA2, there is a BA2 limit after all. That said, packing mods with textures into ba2 is generally a good idea, for weapon mods it will make weapon switching faster.
Mosin nagant, SV-98 and the F4NV anti material rifle are all very high quality and work flawlessly with custom animations and no issues in PA

There is also the Remington 700, BH kar98, Combined arms Barret, and the L96 international.
Nagant and SV98 are also usable with New Calibers
@@nolanevans7603 nagant and sv98 are extremely usable wtf are you talking about? They have no issues?

Muzzle brakes vent gasses out of the top forcing the barrel down.
3:50 With that hammer grip on the bolt ? .Hell no .
man i know i'm late but its good to see someone actually saying what they think about the mods instead of glazing all of them lmao
you really sounds like average baters

keep this series up please

I would rather just not even use it at that point
Well, that definitely means robco patcher was the culprit of my "unique" pickup animation's not working right with some modded weapons.
I guess we are getting back down to it!
Can you do a mod battle on creature mods?
Good idea.

Ive been liking the l96, and I don't run power armor often cuz I think power amor should mainly use heavy guns
Fuuuuuuck knowing that there’s an SMLE mod on pc that I’ll never get to use on Xbox seriously puts a damper on this play through
Since I never use power armor I couldn’t care less if the mods are broken in power armor

I don’t understand how mod authors can’t just do this
@@SavageSayo79 I actually really liked MW19 myself but man I’m paying Fallout for a reason
I mix in CoD weapons if they are lore friendly like P90 (Fallout 2) or AR15 platform like SREP (New Vegas) and my personal fav G3 (FO3)

If you're using a bolt action rifle in powerarmor you're doing it wrong
Stop using guns in power armor!
Baters huh.
Wait , is it a Type 38 or an Arisaka ? .
A type 38 IS an arisaka.
Your your him
Wahh power armor
My recommended mod of choice ? = Hand made Anti material baby! Anything loose is bound to pick up a disease 🦠
