The older trains then have been decommissioned. The new train in the film are now the old and refurbished material. Many new kinds of trains were added. But the biggest change is on the platforms: they are much longer and wider now, and have much new "furniture". Also: the train entrance to the station is much simpler: fewer routes to get to the platforms to reduce complexity and avoid congestion.
Stadsbus refers to all kinds of stock that were not to be found on Dutch tracks at that time. The abbreviations he mentions are jargon to railfans to denote the type of stock they talk about ;) .
ICR existed for years by then ;) They were used in the 'longest train in the world' (1989) as well.
+Albert Bolink Genuine workhorses!
22 jaar inmiddels!

Now 30 years ago 🙌🏻
+citea2003 Sorry I do not understand

Very nice that you still had this videos!
Trains Of Crazyperson I thought it might be of interest and show how things have changed.
David Othen It sure is interesting. The most trains in this video are going out of service in the coming years.

It's been that long since the Plan-T (four couch Mat64) been removed from service that It's almost alien to see the Mat 64 (8:02) with four couches.
Certain locomotives of the 1950s such as the ns 1100,1300 and ns 1000 including all older electric trains do not appear to have a horn
Mooi! :)
1:02
That thing right there in front. Those are still in use
Wow! Compare that to now a days, nothing much has changed! Compare that to railways in Britain, a lot has happened! Greetings from the UK
Just how I remember the NS. Almost all those trains have gone now.
Wow sprinter and intercity not there
Sponsoring.
