Me too, because the only group of larpers in my city MOSTLY do swordplay, so i thought that was literally the only thing they did

Well, this is pretty much what it was like in the early 2000s when I was a teen. Swords made of ski poles and lots of curtain capes :D
Rem LARP is actually my favorite form of role playing game even the lil tiny stupid ones are awesome you should definitely try it out.

After playing my first larp, I don’t know how you play so many different + unique characters. I can barely speak when I play a timid personality and end up sobbing till I’m puffy. Hopefully you’ll make a video about dealing with in game anxiety in the near future! ❤️

As a kid I was trying to make a cream cheese pie...except for some reason I grabbed the sticks of butter instead and didn't realize it until the pie was done...I ate about half of it before it started upsetting my stomach and my mom forced me to stop. XD
I just SQUEEZED for the first time in ages. I live 30 minutes from there and have been to Stronghold many times over the years. The minute it showed the castle I thought, "oh, that looks just like Stronghold."

Momo you are so talented. Your video, singing, and costuming skills are so wonderful. I felt so wrapped up in the video until the end. I even wanted to rewatch as soon as it was over. I also love that you try to incorporate your music skills into your characters. I have never had the chance to formally participate in a LARP, but you have made me want to do so.

This event sounds amazing! ;-; I want to get into larp so bad! It's like my dream! I wish they had a place near the Milwaukee area for beginners so I could at least get my foot in the door to learn more. ;-;
I have the feeling that american larps are way different than the european larps. I saw plastic cups being used, in most groups this would be treated like a crime. I think that european larp go far deeper in case of immersion.
Depends on the group. This was this company's first public venture. For public interactions, plastic is easier.

Four years ago when this video came out, it introduced teenage me to Otherworld Theatre and I IMMEDIATELY put Chronicles on my bucket list. The raw footage from Chronicles on your second channel has long been one of my comfort videos. Now I'm going to Albion School of Sorcery (also run by Otherworld) next month! Feels like a dream. I am a part of a Harry Potter inspired larp/show that does something similar to this on a smaller scale. The show bits are so fun to watch and the cast always finds a good way to involve the audience/students.

I haven’t watched this video since it came out and it was just recommended to me again so I thought I’d watch it and… oh man. I forgot that Mike was in it, and now I’m immensely sad. I can’t believe it’s been a year. I’m glad I could watch this and see him having a good time. That means a lot to be able to have him in your videos to look back on.

Speaking of commitment, I once put a pinecone in my shoe the day after my character got hit in her leg during battle. It hurt but I did not give up on that pinecone, I now am Limping Girl.

that's the whole point of a LARP, Just be your character and act in the way they would, and practise, Find RP games to practise on, Make a character and use that to get use to doing that style of things, some good ones are like Gmod they have a few RP servers, some more IRL like their military RP, others are fantasy, there is always Roblox, I understand its seen as a kids game but it can help get into the rhythm of select time periods, like Kingdom Life II
