The dragon Daemon is singing to is Vermithor the Bronze Fury. He is the second largest dragon after Vhagar who belonged to the Old King Jaehaerys at the beginning of episode one. Daemon is taming him and getting him ready for a new rider.
its just thrown in there to make sure Alicent never bears any responsibility or blame for anything that happens, she's just a blameless victim, nothing more.
@@arobin6695 I think it's a bit more subtle than that. Alicent wants Viserys to favor her children just once, even if it's on his deathbed. To the viewer, Viserys is clearly just gibbering his last words in a fading stream of consciousness, but to Alicent she morphs that into the meaning she so desperately wants it to be. She is self-deluded which is not really the same as being blameless. Interestingly it is Rhaenys who calls her out in the previous episode on how self-deluded she has been throughout the years.
I’ve seen way too many people defend daemon choking rhaenyra with random bullshit like “He’s a warrior so he knows how to choke without killing her so she was safe” Like WHAT? Safe while being choked? Miss the point much? And saw people say “daemon was just really mad that his brother didn’t tell him about the song of ice and fire” Like…ok. Be mad. I get mad, I say “fuck!”, I don’t assault someone I say I ‘love’. There’s a line between a sorta tony soprano “they’re evil, but I still kinda root for them or think they have cool scenes”, and saying they’re actually a good guy Too many people cross that line
Note Daemon said the Greens have 4 dragons. Alicent has another son. Killing Aegon and Aemond would have galvanized those who hate Rhaenrya and they would have rallied around Daeron. War was inevitable.
It's more an historical renditions than a fully fledged out story with developing characters. Martin also goes to great pains to discredit the authenticity of the book.
The show decided that all the women must be anti-war and all the men must be pro-war. In the book Rhaenys was the one advocating that they should use their dragons to attack the Greens while Daemon was the one advocating for diplomacy before violence since he had seen war before. And Rhaenyra didnt say she needed a day to consider whether she should surrender or not, in the book she told Aegon's messenger that she would have Aegon's throne or she would have his head.
You'd be surprised to know how many people love Daemon and defend everyone of his awful decisions lol.
Same goes for aemond lol
@@user-np4gr2je2q Aemond didnt do something super awful yet
@@user-df8lp9zq8s i'm talking about the people that knows what he does in the future but still try to defend him he'a literally a monster.

Alicent hearing "Aegon" was immaterial to the plot. Her father already had plans in place to steal the throne.

"Can we stop having childbirth?" - Yes, I guess we're done since we just started with child death.
Rhaenyra has 4 sons left. Jace, Joffrey, Aegon and Viserys.
Rhae’s dragon was also feeling pain. 7:29

Daemon is not a good guy in any sence, but he is great character

A mistake? Aemond hunt lucerys and laught. Maybe he didn't want to kill him but by acting like this his dragon see lucerys as a prey
The story is based on one small book. It's all written out.

It's based on two chapters of a book.
"Can he just fucking get on with the main series?" - Why should he? You haven't even finished what there is of it. It's your fault.
Not sure it’s quite all her fault tbh
@@adambrowne8292 Not all hers but I'm pretty sure the old man has been binging reaction videos since the Red Wedding.
She has 4 boys left 2 with Harwin Strong 2 with Daemon
The oldest one is going to the Vale. Joffrey, born in Ep. 6, should be about 7 then there's an Aegon and a Viserys, both shown to the king in Ep. 8.

7:49 A mother giving a painful birth to her baby is DISGUSTING??🤔🤔
Interesting choice of words for a Future Mother there😅
Are you liking this show? Hard to tell with the tons of negative comments. From characters to set designs
I stfg season 2 better not have a single birth scene
