I heard the Murdochs (or whatever they may be called today) sued Cameroon for his depiction. In reality, Murdoch made sure that the boats were filled properly and refused to get on board himself. He was seen helping passengers right until the end.
Movies are never trustworthy sources of information. Hollywood makes up whatever they think the audience wants to see. This is one of the reasons I stopped watching movies years ago. They are all just lies.
@@user-Marco.700 there were reports of officers opening fire to disperse the crowd, but Murdoch was not indicated. In fact his conduct was far apart from how he was depicted
It’s assumed Murdoch died after lifeboat B was washed away I think He is assumed drowned Captain smith was confirmed to have jumped off the bridge of titanic with Andrew’s Both men died
Full respect for the Captain, to take that responsibility and go down with his ship is an honourable thing to do. (Unless in years to come of me writing this, some facts have come about that he was shot when caught dressed as a woman kicking kids out of the very first lifeboat).
No one knew the reality. Any direct witnesses to their deaths also died. It was never confirmed that Murdoch shot himself. If a suicide even actually happened.

Yes I know but since we don't know how the real officer Murdoch died I wanted to put the one from the 97 film
@@user-Marco.700if he did his duty to the end then he would have drowned.

@@user-Marco.700 That's pretty low. Why would you want to do that?
