It’s that time of the year again- Nine emperor god festival! After two years of muted celebrations, vegetarian food traders are looking forward to a bigger crowd at this year’s Kew Ong Yeah (Nine Emperor Gods) Festival.
The Nine Emperor Gods Festival (九皇爺誕) or Vegetarian Festival is a nine-day Taoist celebration beginning on the eve of the ninth lunar month of the Chinese calendar.
