    So true! I bought so much fruits and vegetables to be raw vegan and then it stays in the fridge because I don’t have the energy to do anything 😔

      Awwwww!!! If you eat them, you’ll have a little extra energy, but I understand… it’s a vicious cycle! Hope you can find ways to add more of that food you buy

    For planning I use Trello, a free app that's sort of like an interactive spread sheet. I have one column that has all my favorite raw recipes and ideas, that are alphabetized and color coded: the higher fat recipes are red LOL and the staple meals are green for example. Then I have a column that has what I plan to eat for the week. I also have a row that is just a bunch of soup ideas. I don't have one for the different sauces and dressing, but now that I thought of it I will LOL I alphabetize the soups by the main ingredient, for example cream of asparagus goes under "A" Plus if you can't find something you can search for it. It's sooooo helpful!! I use Trello for other stuff like organizing my bills. and keeping track of mileage for my independent contractor stuff. I love it.

    definitely it takes some extra time and energy in the beginning but when I do manage to get the prep right it's so easy and I feel a million times better and more energetic!!! unfortunately I only managed to keep it up in the spring and summer months of 2020 and 2021...
    Lissa, I know you don't eat cooked foods but have you heard any tips or tricks from others who are simply WFPB - I find it hard to avoid other cooked and/or calory dense foods (and slip into the unhealthy ones very easily) when I introduce some whole grains, potatoes, and even legumes!

      The key I think is to eat enough in general. The best thing I could say if you still eat cooked is to have a massive salad with it. Like make a big salad and add one sweet potato to the salad or maybe it’s 1 cup cooked quinoa. That way you still eat some cooked but fill up on mostly raw. The main reason I feel people “overeat” cooked stuff is because they don’t eat it with a massive amount of raw OR they just under eat all day and then just eat whatever because they are so hungry.

      @@RawFoodRomance hmm I did try that but I just end up too full since the dressing is so great and I just devour the whole thing but then next meal I just crave very calorie dense foods which end up being not so healthy 😅😅

    Hi lissa, I feel stuck with finding my way eating raw, its a struggle to find good quality fruit what is affordible, I live in Belguim, and because of that I find it hard to get enough calories in in a day, you eat a lot of dates, so your calories of a salad is going up, I think this was a good idea of you to do that like that, but I don’t enjoy the taste of dates in a dressing, I tried with other dried fruit like apricots, but I can not find some dressing what is no fat and tastes good, so I feel little bit stuck, you have any tips what I van try, Thank you :)

      Hmmm I would have suggested apricots - or any fresh fruit. In my dips n dressings eBook I have 48 no fat dressings but I do use a lot of dates and I enjoy sweet dressings. You could also use less dates in the dressing but add fruit to you’re salad like berries or chopped mango to increase the calories ❤️

    Have u ever freeze any of your dressings to meal prep? Or do u always make it fresh every couple of days?

      I personally have never frozen dressings. I do, however, vacuum blender and vacuum seal dressings and they can last 4+ days just in the fridge and taste just like I freshly blended them. I dunno how I feel about freezing my dressings and having to thaw them… you can try tho!
