This press has worked like a charm for my projects th-cam.com/users/postUgkxajoEbapTfqWaadnqb04h6U576yxXp-FE . I didn't even secure it to my table top, mainly due to the fact that I was using a 15 lbs drill vise. It's not flimsy at all as to what others have claimed it to be. Make sure the locking nuts and levers are secured and there won't be any issues with light pressure and patience. I was able to drill through aluminum, plastic, and steel (steel took a while) with no problems at all. Yeah it took a little longer than a regular drill press, but I don't have the space OR the money for one.The instruction manual was worthless, but luckily assembling the press was intuitive. However, the manual would be good for ordering replacement parts if needed. There is a nice breakdown of the parts that are included in the kit. Before ordering, make sure it is compatible with your unit, it is clearly stated what models the press is compatible with.This was an excellent purchase for $40!!
*Bought as a gift for my son and his second grade son to use on a Pinewood Derby car. Wanted something relatively safe and able to be packed away when not in use. Worked well. **MyBest.Tools** Easy to use and set up. Case provides good storage.*

I bought this one for $38. I also recommend a $12 footswitch and using the longest bit you have for alignment when mounting drill.

Nice tool to have can this work on a few alt battery operated drill or it has to be a plug in
Plug-in drills, because most have a parallel collar that should fit into the drill neck sleeve. Battery-operated drills have curved necks. Check out Bosch and Black +Decker drills, but confirm the diameters of press and drill neck before purchase. I use a B +D drill.

Poorly thought out design; the drillmotor blocks the plunge depth indicator!! It's what happens when bean counters interfere with engineers!!
Dear sir it's meant to be used with 775 motors and those sort ... Putting a drill into it is just another very useful way one could use it aswell ... And myself have have two of those since 2years now .. iv been using it for metal, wood,glass,stone,ceramic ,porcelain ... Ect... Without major issues ...
Got one few years ago, just another cheap Chinese product, don't waste your time and money if you want precision get your self real drill press.
Exactly what drills will work in this piece of garbage. I own half a dozen corded and cordless drills none of them have a case accepted by this thing. Save your money buy a real drill press.
