I've got a long way to go before I could play this but I'm having a bit of trouble getting the strumming pattern, you go a bit fast for me unfortunately.
Dave Donoghue can you put a version of you just playing the song on your Guitar without explaining because i don’t get wat you have to do at what moment
Nice one! It would be very helpful if you played the song through once, to have a better idea of the chord progression and so we can follow along and learn :) I'll give it a go anyway, thanks!
Hi Maeva, sorry I had not seen your comment: I have an interactive tab added to this lesson now, the details are in the description if you wanna play along with it :)
I dont understand the end of the chorus. Suddenly you do D and G. Are we supposed to strum them and then pick the last four EM? Maybe you could play the whole so that we can hear how it goes? Please! :)
Hey Fredrik, sorry a year late but I had not seen your comment: I have an interactive tab added to this lesson now, the details are in the description if you wanna play along with it :)
Brill, glad you found it useful..yea best tip I have for bar chord transition is to treat it like moving a capo between two frets: loosen your index finger, move up/down and then press again. A lot of players don't relax their fingers when changing barre chord positions and it can cause friction, which reduces speed. Hope this helps :)
It's the first time I'm visiting your channel. It's really nice. Hope to see many new tutorials here. My humble suggestion would only be to mute the strings when you're presenting the strumming. Cheers and good luck with your channel.
One more thing: you don't really show the progression of chords when she is singing the actual chorus. The one with the D chord. I mean like how long to play each chord. I'll figure it out but it's better to always show; even to kind of go through the song as a play-along.
Thank you Karol, yes plenty going up next year. Brilliant Thanks for that - I had no in ear monitors in so didn't pick up that the strings were coming out..Happy Playing :)
The progression of chords is the same as an earlier part in the song, thought I had referenced that..anyways, here is a link to an ultimate guitar chord sheet where you can track the chord lengths to the lyrics if you wish, they are correct, I checked: tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/mark_ronson/nothing_breaks_like_a_heart_chords_2531568
Tasty tune! Sounds like Ed Sheeran had a hand in writing it!! Picking is tidy in it too, I think you'll find a solid tab somewhere if you'd looking for it, if you are playing the chords I'd suggest playing it with the Dm, it will add a nice crunch to the sound!
Good question Kuba, I haven't looked at any other tutorial videos but I'd imagine a lot are using capos to teach this..when I created the tutorial I had debated using a capo or not..the reason I did (and the reason I imagine other YT teachers have also) is that to play it without a capo requires the use and knowledge of alternative barre chord shapes, namely the C shape..when I create tutorials my first focus is that the tutorial is accurate but a very close second is to remove any potential barriers for players learning it..thats why I used a capo..the notes are all accurate, its just they are played use a different method than what Mark Ronson uses..also, sometimes I'll watch a live performance to see how an artist does it but I uploaded this the day the song got released..anyways, excuse the long winded answer but hope this helps :)
@@TheSchoolOfGuitar Thanks for response. I got your point. Maybeeee you could make "hard version" of some songs :) in future perhaps if you had time.. just an idea ;) Ofc love and appreciation for your work
Its a baby taylor, I have a link of all the gear I use at this site: kit.co/guitaraco/guitars Great guitar, have had it for 6 years, if mine got broken or lost I would go out and buy the same guitar all over again!
..I recorded this the day it got released so there was no live versions out there, but yes, I've seen other people comment on that! Interesting to say the least!
Just to clear that up, well spotted dude and when I say 100% accurate I mean the notes, transcribed and slowed them down off the record the day it came out and before any live video of any performance was out :-) Have seen lots of other tutorials using capos as well but pretty impressive he can do it without one
Omg you're so good!!! 🙏🏽 Thank you for this video 😍 we've just uploaded our cover of this same song, we'd be very happy if you could tell us if you like it ☺️ wish you the best xx

Ah cool glad you liked it Phil! Yea trying to keep those tab lines straight is fun too ha!
Can you create it bro as a track with clear studio sound and images as you do in your videos. Thank you bro. Keep the great work

You are welcome!
are there guitar teachers on yt that don't use capo? i didn't see Ronson playing with it

Great job! You really know how to play guitar. But your vídeo could be better if you played it in the end along the song
Thanks for the tip!
Am7? Not sure.. sounds better with a straight Am to me.
Whichever you prefer Chris :-)
alguien me puede decir o explicar como hacer el ritmo?
I have tab in description :)
Why is everyone using a capo, when I see Mark playing without one live? This would not be 100% accurate.
