I did this, but did absolutely no pattern at all and just grabbed random color beads, so now this looks like an eyesore. I love it. This tutorial is awesome
You're very good at explaining this. I was able to make one following your directions starting with 36 beads for the single. It ended up being too big, but it still turned out really awesome, and my 5 year old saw it and said I had to make one for her right away. I was able to whip up a much smaller one perfectly thanks to your direction to stick with multiples of 3. I can't wait to show her her new mandala bracelet tomorrow morning!
This is super cool! Sadly I totally don't have the supplies to make one as I'm still pretty new to Kandi, but I love seeing how these sorts of things are made! Maybe someday I'll be able to make some of my own :D
i’m rooting for you! do you have reddit? the r/kandi sub has a lot of good advice and links to buy suuuuuuper cheap beads and string. plus the community is super sweet and will help you with any questions you have. hope to see you there
I cant wait to get rave beads for my birthday if my parents even get me them. I followed this tutorial and I made one but my beads are 3mm beads so it's like a tiny Mandela cuff. This tutorial was really easy to follow and it's super clear! I only struggled getting the string to go in the beads and that's it. Keep it up bro!!
Rad! I just got some supplies and needed something to do with my afternoon! Thanks for all your helpful tutorials, you and your peers have helped me up my game in just a couple of weeks and I'm having so much fun with my new hobby
@@ihateorangejuice2763 yes! Perlers are just as good. Plus you csn make perlers too. I’ve never bought pony beads but i think they’re more used since they have a bigger hole so they’re easier to use. But personally, i love my perlers! I made a bra out of perlers, ig’s pretty and nice!
Wow, this is truly beautiful and you managed to go over all of the tutorial in less than 20 minutes! this is awesome and im definitely gonna try this out❤
it’s ok as long as you continue on it should work out :3 mine also wasn’t pointy for the second set of triangles but it made a x which is fine about!! If I’m wrong please correct me!
I had six feet and ran out after the first triangle base! But that's okay, it looks pretty cool on its own. and now my next one I'm just gonna add 2 feet just in case XD
I tried this and it did kinda work and I understood the tutorial but my beads and string wouldn’t spike or anything like that so I couldn’t complete the cuff :[
Tried to find one of those little handy tools you have there but I can't find anything quite like that. Where did you get it? The little plastic tool your using?
Idk where she got hers but I got mine at my local craft store they are called yarn needles or plastic needles and I got mine in a pack of like ten or so, so I recommend checking there - Zombie
i belive they get them from beadtin, but im not sure. I get mine from ebay, amazon and once beadtin but shipping costs werent worth it. If your from the UK wilko has good quality beads
also this is interesting see the 3d done this way i was taught to go diagonals and then when i get around do the opposing diagonals to complete the x's for the 3d instead of top then bottom but i'ma try top and then bottom next time

This works so well! This is easy, fun, and worrying for your parents when you hear beads clink at 12 am
My parents are used to hearing beads drop at 3 in the morning
🙃💅
IKR. I work in the wee hours of the morning making kandi stars and mandela cuffs :3
The fact that this is my exact situation right now-
i absolutely hate that noise i cringe at it😭
@@laufey._.lauverrwhat it sounds good 😂
Im obsessed with your videos. Just started making cuffs yesterday and you make me feel like an expert

i reccomend going to walmart to buy kandi and string, it depends where you live tho :P
I got beads for like £11 and string around £7.00
As a beginner you really helped me! I made a Daisy Duck cuff off of this video, and I am super grateful!! Thank you!!
Instead of changing the colour of the bead in the middle for the last step, i used glow in the dark star beads and it looks SO cool!
W pfp
thank you for the tutorial!! made my first 3D cuff
spent about an hour making this, but im really happy with it! one of my new faves

As soon as my beads arrive I'll try this, it's a super helpful tutorial!
It takes 312 beds total in order to make one mandala cuff!
Thanks 😭😭
i dont think i have 312 beds lol
thank you for this tutorial, i hope your friend is getting better. appreciate the time and effort you put towards your videos
Reminder! You don’t *have* to use pony beads, I myself use perlers for cuffs and everything kandi!
wait so all this time, i didnt have to waste 30 dollars on pony beads when i have perlers sitting around?!

Peelers work exelently!
Just made this with pinks! Thanks so much! 🎉 🫶🏻🖤
Such a good tutorial! Me and my bestie made these together! Pink one and green one for cosmo and Wanda 😅

I love you lol this is the first kandi I ever made and you made the process so easy !!
Thank you so much! Mine came out so cute
Thank you so much! This was so easy to follow as a beginner!
0:11 YOU PREDICTED THE SABRINA CARPENTER ALBUM
That one yellow color Kandi looks like macaroni
I was looking for cuffs I’ve never made, but I’ve made this kind of cuff multiple times XoD
So cool! I’m going to try to make my very own soon
Why are mine not pointy :(
it’s ok as long as you continue on it should work out :3 mine also wasn’t pointy for the second set of triangles but it made a x which is fine about!! If I’m wrong please correct me!
just made this! looks great!! thanks for the tutorial 😊
I MADE THIS AND IT WAS SO FUN TO MAKE!!
This is such a good tutorial, thank you!
i didn’t have 1.2 string so i’m using 1.5 hopefully it’ll still be ok!
Super cool, clear, and easy to follow. too bad I made it way too big 😅
“You get the point” no pun intended 🤭
I had six feet and ran out after the first triangle base! But that's okay, it looks pretty cool on its own. and now my next one I'm just gonna add 2 feet just in case XD
okay 10 months later I needed closer to 9 feet (I swear I'm using 1.2mm, even 1mm!) but I've got a hang of it now! Love this tutorial.
Can you make these cuffs with seed beads
no, seed beads are very small and unsuitable for string to go through many times even if you had an immense amount of beads, enough for a cuff.
@@dorkish. okay thanks 😊
@@dorkish.there are thin strings made to pass through seed beads multiple times!
i just ordered a mushroom kit just so I can get that needle, the ones i have are too big for the beads
can i do this with a 2 x base ? great tutorial btw! :3
I tried this and it did kinda work and I understood the tutorial but my beads and string wouldn’t spike or anything like that so I couldn’t complete the cuff :[
make sure you’re using cloth covered stretch cord and pulling the string tight! that should work
Hello. Could you possibly tell us the name of each of the colors that you used for this cuff?
I’ve figured out 5 of the colors, but cannot figure out 2 of them. The 5 colors are, pumpkin, butternut, daffodil, mustard, and lemon neon bright.
And the other two colors are bright yellow and tiger coral.
3:30 where the video starts.
Only thing im confused about is i used 6ft and did this exactly but i ran out of string early 😳🤔
❤I love this!
I don't have scissors, I have teeth😂
Gradient is the word😊
so pretty! thank you for the tutorial 🥰
Amazing tutorial, Tysm!
What’s the minimum amount of colors you can use for this as a beginner?
one lol
I've always wanted to know how to make these
i’ve made 6 help i can’t stop
O.M.G I need to know where you got ur bead organizer from!?
