I love his videos and his surroundings. It reminds me of when I was young in northern Michigan. Snow muffled all sounds so it is quiet. I can even feel the cold and cold air going deep in my lungs. I miss that so much.
The woods covered with snow. Wow😮 it looks really amazing and peaceful. I hope 🤞 I will have a chance to experience this myself. It is a big dream of me as a person who live in a tropical climate for almost of my life.

Как по мне, есть два существенных минуса которые нужно доработать, ( 1 )для этой землянки не хватает тамбура, чтобы зимой не терять тепло из помещения, и (2 ) нужна печка большего размера чтобы можно было дольше держать в землянке тепло и не так часто кормить печку дровами или построить печку из камня, чтобы дольше за счёт камня держалось тепло в землянке, а то маленькая печка слишком прожорлиавая по дровам, а то с такой маленькой печкой находясь зимой в землянке примерно 5 дней, можно почти выкосить часть леса на обогрев землянки), вот как то так.
Cabin is looking good. You were having an issue putting stuff under the bed? You could take the center support out without it being a issue. A 4"x4"x 8'-0" can hold 500 pounds horizontally safely at it's center. 5,000 pounds vertically. I'm pretty sure you don't weigh in at 500 pounds. P.S. A belated Happy New Year!
I am not a fan of dugouts. They do have excellent below grade insulation, taking advantage of the earth, but the real problem emerges in a spring thaw or extended periods of heavy rain. You can guess.

OK Mr man, I'm gonna help you out here. Next time you come out to your cabin bring a burlap bag or two of coal so you aren't feeding the fire every ten minutes. When you wake up with a wood fire it will be long burned out and you'll have a cold ass until you start another one. U R welcome!
