Had my own “Holy Grail” moment yesterday when the wife, who knows I love all things PING - including the story of how they were developed by Karsten Solheim - came home with a complete set of Ping Eye irons 2i through SW and an early Anser “sound slot” putter with 85068 zip code. She found them in the FREE barrel at a Habitat for Humanity store. They get added to my Ping Eye 2s - a $60 thrift store find ten years ago - which I only replaced a year ago with a set of S57s. The shafts are rusty and the grips which look original are toast but wow, what thrill to have, hold and swing a bit of golf history.

If you guys ever head over this way, there's a Goodwill on 441 to check out and on rt 466 in the Villages there's a store called Johnnie's Birdie Golf that has 55 gal. drums full of used clubs both inside and outside the store. I'm talking at least 8 or 10 huge drums full of older stuff and newer stuff used... just a couple spots to try out if you're in that general area... Love the content as always!

I made several of those Inside Approach swing trainers out of PVC & foam pipe insulation. They actually work! I gave all but one of those that I made away, keeping one for emergency use.

I use an alignment stick to sort of do the same thing as that trainer…works well for me.
