Should you incorporate in Hong Kong?
As with anything involving offshore companies, the answer is: it depends. Depends on the type of business you earn, where your customers and employees are located, how your customers pay you, and your tolerance for things like audit.
Hong Kong is a well-respected jurisdiction that is part offshore, part onshore. Understanding the pros and cons is an important first step before hiring the "cheap" online provider.

Hong Kong is legally a part of China it is not separate from China it is allowed to be a certain economic zone with certain local privileges which are being challenged by both the Chinese government and now millions of people protesting against such control. I know you do not like to talk about politics but right now I think it would be insane to form a company or to do any business inside of Hong Kong until the outcome of all this protest and turmoil is finally determined and established. When the British left they cut a deal with China to allow Hong Kong to have some special privileges but frankly the Chinese government has declared sometime ago that that agreement is Nolan void in the British have no way of enforcing it anyway.
My assessment is that Hong Kong will be totally absorbed into the Chinese legal system over the next couple of years in Hong Kong’s legal system and the commercial set up will be somewhere to Shanghai and other major trading in industrial areas in China that is the goal of the Chinese government.
The Hong Kong you describe is actually not what it once was because it has become a very small part of the port areas in training areas of other cities in China I think the statistic is that they now make up only 8 to 12% of all exports from China too much confusion too much turmoil right now

British Hong Kong was probably the top free region, and hence to common knowledge, it is still considered as an option, especially China is presenting this city to be so.

The only reason for EU citizens to not incorporate in Hong Kong is the potential blacklisting? It seems it will not actually be included, correct?
