Possibly the nicest man in the entire sport. And the most humble. I often see him kicking around the crags in and around Yorkshire and setting bangers at The Foundry. He's super approachable, insanely knowledgeable and a literal living legend! One of the giants who's shoulders were all trying to stand upon. I could go on talking Steve Mac all day! Every sponsor out there ought to be throwing stuff at him and funding the great mans adventures. So much love for him!
I was lucky enough to meet Steve years ago. He was so encouraging and you could feel him wanting me to succeed at my climbing. He must be climbing’s greatest ambassador. It’s amazing to see that he’s still climbing as my aging body starts to give up. Long may he continue.

Agreed!!
Really enjoyable listening, the balance between interviewer and climber worked really well, much less “ nerdy “ that many interviews.
Great role model
One of the best!
