I haven't made keychains, but I grabbed a few dead branches off the mountain, and Dremel carved them full of tree spirits. Then I cut them up and turned them into little Christmas ornaments as presents for last year. I know I'm going to have to get a set of carving knives eventually as well. I've seen some people use them for sharpening finish details on their power carvings. Also really like your little Ram carver, so maybe one day. Still waiting on the chainsaw I ordered, and just ordered a decent die grinder and a good handful of Kutzall bits to go with it. So excited to learn the new tools and see what I can do with them. Still, I think I gotta slow my roll on purchasing and get busy creating so I can support my creative addictions.😅😂🤣

Great idea for key rings ! 💡💡Personally, I find that wood knives work much better with basswood than the Dremel or other which produces more fuzzies. Rob is right, on amazon, the sticks are pretty hard, but the trick is to submerge them in water for a while.! For gloves, these are not the best even if there are worse, I use tactical Kevlar gloves which mold perfectly to the hands 😉
This is what I do in carving but have started Dremel and chainsaw it's all fun it's my quiet time other than the noise the equipment makes .....way to go Jordy 💥🔥
