Congrats to the winner! I played XT with the Yacht Club and it was a lot of fun. I started with my Mercury, was redundant, spent some time in my F7A mk2 and my Ion, but ended up stowing them for my 600i Explorer. It still flies like a brick, but it still flies better and hits harder than my Ion.
About the event, I think they should have had a mission pop up where you could fight for Xeno. I think a lot of complaints come from the accidental flaggings
77 out of 100+ weren't duplicates? Functionally, I wonder if it counts replies as duplicates actually. Curious little behind the scenes question I guess, or if there were just 23+ excess messages.
well you have to think about all the replies from me. I reply to a lot of comments, I like to show that I am here reading and talking with you guys. so a good amount is me.
There should be random PVP in those events. However, there shouldn't be long duration of vulnerability after QTing to somewhere, or even when comm array is down or not present, there should be a way to distinguish if they are hostile PVPer or just miss-friendly-fired or what not. I think most people complaining about PVP isn't really complaining about PVP, but complaining about the PVP under the non-fairness of those circumstances.
Congratulations! Having a mk2 will be great in the hanger :) Honestly I agree with your take on the backlash. As a backer from 2017 I’ve seen so many highs and lows. Joining this org however has been a huge change. Now JumpTown and other projects are so exciting. Cant wait to see more and the org is full of different players. Many love salvage and mining as well as cargo. Have a good day ❤
Congrats on the milestone! As far as the event goes, I liked it. It was a lot of fun. My only complaint was the two types of missions. The actual Xenotheat vs the CDF missions. Did a bunch of the CDF ones not realizing that they didnt count towards the armor. Once I realized that, it was good. Thoroughly enjoyed watching you take a bunch of Idrisisis... Idrisi? lol
Congratulations on hitting the 5k. U earned it! I played a bit of Xenothreat last night and TBH it was the most fun i have had in SC in ages. Game worked pretty well. Fps was good. Got to do a load of flying pew pew. Generally pretty happy!
Gz Sig, enjoy the ride. I think personally, the issue is the random flagging more than anything. If it was in a lawless area, then its all fair game in my books..
@Astro_Mani oh true, I was running into "red" players even at the station. I personally didn't mind it, it's hectic anyways and now people finally learning to just board the Idris... it'd gotten a lot easier to complete.
Had my first bad xeno threat pvp experience. I've had a couple before but not that bad. This go round, could not get anyone to want to group up to try and stop them. It was a pvp group with about 8 to 10.
My take on the PVP is that it makes sense. I see alot of ppl complaining that it is a PVE event and ppl shouldn't be PVPing. But groups and organizations are working to steal the Idris from xeno threat. It makes sense that when boarded players would fight each other for it. It makes sense that the org or group trying to take it have fighters deployed to make sure no one blows up the Idris while their team is on board. Easiest thing to avoid the majority of the PVP that happens is to back off from the Idris and take out the hostile npcs while that group or org takes the ship. The problem is the griefers trying to get easy kills on ppl focused on NPCs. And I get why they do that, in my opinion it's cause they aren't quite skilled enough to take someone on head to head or they are just trying to make someone mad cause they want to try and ruin someone else's day. More often than not they end up disappointed and server hopping because there is an organized group there who puts a stop to it real quick.
As one of the people you’re talking about; none of the thing you talk about are issues. The issue is “PVPers” hiding behind NPCs, cluttered UI, and bugged markers decrying “gut gud and bring friends” to PvEers
Me and my org were running a new member through this event, and we had a griefer wait outside the ship and gun our member down, and when we blasted him back, he got into chat and tried to say WE were griefing, and then turn around and tail us and fire on us in the middle of the XenoThreat event. For the cherry on top, we were set back like 6 hours because of this griefer, and our new member didn't even get credit for the completion.
Remember world bosses in WoW? Notice they phased them out mere years after the game was released and kept all raids instanced? Yeah, PvE raids that allow ganking are just bad design.
@@Astro_Mani they could add an NPC blockade from the faction asking for help. You either accept the quest and become a temporary "teamate", and attacking other players become a TK, meaning those NPCs will hunt you, or cannot reach the mission are without being shot down. Every MMO needs structure. Full sandbox pvp MMOs are always niche games, and noone would pay to be content in those games if they aren't into just killing everyone on sight too.
No problem with “git gud” when it’s in AC or in the PU at large. But hiding behind NPCs, cluttered UI, and a marker bug and saying “git gud” is disingenuous AT BEST and undeniably grieving at worst
Congrats to the Winner!! and Thank You all! on to 6k!!!
So exciting!!! Damn you lookin handsome ❤
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 congrats

Yeah man. Where did the blue tags go? Btw congrats to the winner.
Gz Sig, enjoy the ride.
I think personally, the issue is the random flagging more than anything. If it was in a lawless area, then its all fair game in my books..
it is a lawless zone out at the wreck site. but ya the UI and people going red is annoying.

Congrats on 5K 🎉🎉🎉 🥳👍

if there is that many pvpers you have to swap server sadly, just to many
@@Astro_Mani that's what I did, just wish more players on a server like that would group up. Instead of air around

I agree UI is problem, I stated that alot
Ya there is a lot to think about, but we got what we got. and we can just hope that the constructive critisim is heard.
Hell yeah!!!
hell ya!
I need to be on next week if yall run it again I haven’t managed to finish the second mission of destroy or capture.
congratz
Grats on 5k subs !

thats rough, you should get the mission complete as long as you report to battle and are in the pyro zone when it finishes.. unfortunate.
Really had some fun
Why are you playing that other game in the ápice of the event?
people cant play two games?
cmon 1/77 and ive lost. My comment was way better. It was GG...lol.
Remember world bosses in WoW? Notice they phased them out mere years after the game was released and kept all raids instanced?
Yeah, PvE raids that allow ganking are just bad design.
fair comparison. i can see instances working, but idk how they would set that up for a game like this. maybe just private servers for raids like this.
