At the end of the game when you blow up collectors base, from when you recruit Tali "infiltrated Cerberus and to blow them up if so i loan you the grenade" i always take her for that reason to keep her to word
One of my favourite paragon moments in ME2 is when you go to the merc recruiter on Omega and use the paragon interrupt to stop that kid from joining as a freelancer to kill Archangel. I didn’t in my renegade playthrough and boy did I feel bad 😞
I kind of thought all the stores on the Citadel would band together after you endorse all of them. That would be kind of funny if they confronted Shepard later in the game
There was this one Paragon choice I found in a recent playthrough of Mass Effect 2 that really hit me out of left field. I was talking to Harrot, the Elcor shopkeeper on Omega, and my Paragon option essentially made me threaten to break his legs XD
Number 1 is definitely rescuing David Archer, its such an emotionally draining mission, considering how long it is as well for a side quest you are already exhuasted then you find what they did to him, pistol whipping the brother is the best goddamn feeling.

My dare wish for mass effect 4 gameplay is that we have more "suicide missions". Just 3 or 4 during the campaing would be enough (for the more important millestones) where you assing extra roles to your squadmates, have a secundary team doing their stuff to help you out and the possibility of death in case of bad choices. My first time playing has totally blind and I feel that the decisions matter and only after I finish it I discovered that your squad could die during the mission (my squadmates survived at least, for the crew I only saved the doctor, ops)
@@marpj6138 on my first run i managed to save the crew but i lost Jack and Thane. Geez i was so frustrated but yeah i agree some more weight on a second team or so would be quite nice
As someone else already pointed out, if you have Miranda in your party while blowing up the Collector base, you get a bit of extra dialogue. The Illusive Man: Miranda, do not let Shepard destroy the base! Miranda: Or what? You'll replace me next? The Illusive Man: I gave you an order, Miranda! Miranda: I noticed. Consider this my resignation.
If you do Garrus’ secret mission in ME1 and have him go the paragon route, you don’t actually get a paragon option to convince him to spare sidonis; since Garrus is more inclined to let it go after hearing the conversation. At least for me, I don’t need to do two checks and the text is in normal color font rather than blue paragon font. Edit: you also need to make him doubt himself before meeting sidonis. If you don’t keep urging him to find another way then the font won’t change to blue
Even though it was sometimes satisfying to hang up on the Citadel Council in Mass Effect 1, not a single instance of those will ever live up to hanging up on The Illusive Man at the end of Mass Effect 2, even as a Paragon.
It took me so long to realise that at the end, when you're talking to the Illusive Man, the star behind him is part red, part blue, depending on your Renegade/Paragon score.
I always play a weighted mix. Mostly paragon with some renegade choices where I felt like it was appropriate or deserved, and then a renegade with some paragon choices for the truly heinous stuff that I don't wanna do like yelling at Tali.
If you bring Miranda to destroy the collector base, there’s a little dialogue between her and the illusive man if you decide to destroy the base. That’s even more legendary 👏🏾
What I really like about Paragon Shepard is that he's not this Goody-Two-Shoes "I'll help no matter what" but more of like, "I don't really wanna kill you, let's be reasonable"
technicly i find the destruction of the collector base better when you are with miranda because you have the illusive man ordering her around and she quit on the spot , one of the best moment
10:05 if you have Tali with you there she will say "I'm standing right here!" With hurt in her voice, it's damm hilarious. Also if you have Miranda with you on Blowing the Collector Base she will indiferectly say "Go fuck yourself" to The Illusive Man XD
That station one, if you bring Miranda and decline giving the base to Cerberus, the Illusive Man tries to convince her to change my mind. And she goes “consider this my resignation”
Mine has to be when you talk to the reporter, after you saved the council in ME1 and when she berates you about sacrificing so many to save the council and Shepard lists off that turians also lost their lives, as well as every single human ship that was lost BY NAME. That is the reason I always go paragon with the reporters. It's a bigger punch to their gut and ego than actually hitting them
i liked the moment when Shepard helps a quorian from false accusations from volus and a cop on the citadel. Or helping to mother whose child was murdered by Morinth on Omega
Hmm, would have included the Overlord Paragon outcome here. Kid didn't deserve what came to him. Seriously, the sick krogan one sure sounded way more Renegade than even the actual Renegade prompt.
Paragon is the definition of being heroic. And I also took some different ways, when I made some of the dialogues you showed Dan. 1. At one of the shops, I entered into it after the Spectre Reinstatement with my male Shepard. And here is the catch: I got a different dialogue. Shepard asked the clerk for the discount. And after she asked Shepard about what is her status or something, my shepard said "I'm a Spectre." And she gave me the discount far and squire. No advertisement. I found it wierd...and there is absolutely no video about it... So I can't prove that... 2. With my female Shepard, I skipped the Paragon Interrupt with Kolyat. So the game offers two options: "Disable Kolyat" or Kill the Hostage. And of course, I picked the "Disable Kolyat" And after she shot Kolyat on the shoulder, Shepard said this "Never hold a gun on someone, unless you're willing to make them feel pain like that." I loved, how Jennifer Hale nailed it. :D 3. At convincing Garrus, the "Don't do that Garrus" option was white instead of blue. So my guess is that to get that, you need good amount of Paragon Points...I have no idea how that works, and I know you made a video about it. 4. Rally The Crowd is always going to be my favorite method to complete Tali's Loyalty Mission. :D Sure, you can pick the Paragon or the Renegade Speech Checks to make Tali Innocent. But here is something. The Paragon and the Renegade Speech Checks are different, if you talked to the admirals before going to the Alarei or not. 5. Like I said, I made 2 Paragon Shepard playthroughs before. But with my Male Shepard, I left the Collector Base intact. And at the end of it, I said the middle option: "I'm going to stop the Reapers. But I won't sacrifice the souls of our species to do it. Remember that..." And I did the same with my Female Shepard, who destroyed the Collector Base. Picking the Paragon Option Speech, then the Middle Option: "And I'm going to do exactly, what you've brought me back to do. I’m gonna win this war and I’ll do it without sacrificing the soul of our species."
My fav is the ''i dont need evidence'' option in 2 TALI FTW!!!! Also the sick krogan one with tali with shes like ''Im right here!'' and its just funny then shes like Wait that worked
My absolute favorite is Shepard beating up Gavin Archer at the end of the Overlord DLC. After freeing David Archer from Project Overlord, if you send him to Grissom Academy, Gavin tries to prevent that and even attempts to attack Shepard, but when you take that Paragon interrupt, he instead gets a thorough slapping with Shepard pointing out that if he should ever receive note that he tried to pull off anything questionable, there would be a bullet waiting. Sometimes it takes a sharp axe to split a tough log, even from an all-Paragon Shepard.
ik i’m biased as a thane romancer, but my favorite line has always ‘i’ve taken a lot of bad things out of this world, you were the only good thing i added to it.’

After you have returned (hopefully with the entire crew alive), do the rest of the loyalty missions.
Convincing Garrus not to kill sidonis is the best thing ive ever learned in a video game.
And a damn scary valuable life lesson
What ME 2 realy got right where the tension with you decisions. It felt like hella lot of weight to make them.
Love your vids about ME even brought me back to play again. Thanks for that and i should go from Germany.
That gun shop owner ALWAYS gets my compliments! He's such a salesman!
I always go for the Rally the Crowd option in Tali’s mission, even if ive got the paragon points for the other option.
1:54 Yeah... about that.
"HA ha No other shop has that kind of endorsement."
Goes to another shop on the Citadel.
"That son of the bitch"
@@sandrogamer30018 shepard goes to store "i love this store"
Shepard goes to the store across
"HEY EVERYONE THIS SHOP DISCRIMINATES AGAINST THE POOR"
It's funny running around The Citadel afterwards and hearing the ad play at every shop hahaha
Well, he’s right, he’s the only GUN shop with that endorsement.
Even though it was sometimes satisfying to hang up on the Citadel Council in Mass Effect 1, not a single instance of those will ever live up to hanging up on The Illusive Man at the end of Mass Effect 2, even as a Paragon.
11:50 you do know miranda is a optional squad member to use on this mission with a additional line where illusive man orders her to stop shepard?
Your videos do a fantastic job of hyping me for the legendary edition. (Just preordered mine on steam today.) next month can’t come fast enough.
"Good doesnt have to be always nice"
It took me so long to realise that at the end, when you're talking to the Illusive Man, the star behind him is part red, part blue, depending on your Renegade/Paragon score.
Jesus Christ, I'm rallying the crowd every time now.
I don't have a problem with being a Paragon, but I would never stop Garrus from killing somebody he wanted to kill
ME2 has a special place in my heart, it was the first xbox game I played when I was in high school.
That station one, if you bring Miranda and decline giving the base to Cerberus, the Illusive Man tries to convince her to change my mind. And she goes “consider this my resignation”
Oh hell yes the Paragon Commander Shepard who punchs Kolyat after shooting close to his face
Imagine the Renegade
Mine has to be when you talk to the reporter, after you saved the council in ME1 and when she berates you about sacrificing so many to save the council and Shepard lists off that turians also lost their lives, as well as every single human ship that was lost BY NAME. That is the reason I always go paragon with the reporters. It's a bigger punch to their gut and ego than actually hitting them
I love walking into every store in the wards hearing that it's my favourite store lmao
1:56 - Yo! So many years and I didnt know you could do that :O
Damn I love this channel.
My favorite moment I’ve seen so far is Shepard comforting Tali.
And what about Niftu Cal the Biotic God paragon interruption? That one is my favourite - it's even better with Kasumi in team :D
Epic Renegade moments: *kick a guy through a wall into an explosive cannister*
Epic Paragon moments: *do the right thing*
Sometimes kicking a guy through a wall into an explosive cannister ís the right thing
i liked the moment when Shepard helps a quorian from false accusations from volus and a cop on the citadel. Or helping to mother whose child was murdered by Morinth on Omega
Tali after the trial: "It's fun watching you shout."
Hmm, would have included the Overlord Paragon outcome here. Kid didn't deserve what came to him.
Seriously, the sick krogan one sure sounded way more Renegade than even the actual Renegade prompt.
10:00 When Tali currently in squad were saying " I'm standing right here 😅"
I love recording the same advertisement for every single store
“I’m Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite toilet on the Citadel.”
My fav is the ''i dont need evidence'' option in 2 TALI FTW!!!! Also the sick krogan one with tali with shes like ''Im right here!'' and its just funny then shes like Wait that worked
My personal favorite (maybe in my top 3) is on the citadel when you help a qourin out of trouble with c-sect
9:05 i love this part even better when you bring tali along.
Honestly I say defending the quarian from the c-sec officer and the volus on the citadel was pretty good as well
My absolute favorite is Shepard beating up Gavin Archer at the end of the Overlord DLC.
This is why tali is always more like a little sister to my shep. Nothing feels quite like rallying behind family. 😁
You get the help you deserve....makes me smile every time
I never knew you could get Miranda to talk to her sister
I took a hiatus from the games... for the unavoidable time-dump into the new remaster.
Oh, and dealing with the Biotic God was hilarious, too. "I'll nap. Destroy the universe later." LOL!
