I just bought the same model. In my experience after prepare the coffee, when you remove the filter holder, observe dry coffee in the filter, but on this model the space above the filter over the coffee is full of water. Please let me know if this happens to you.
Yes, I had same problem too. You can't expect something other from that machine. It is the cheap machine, but can do good coffee and steamed milk foam. Unfortunately, the water in filter after brewing is normal thing for this machine, because it not have 3-solenoid valve like Gaggia Classic, which surplus of water throw out in drip tray through special tube, which resulting a dry basket.
why you must do all this and simply unscrew the center bolt under the filter without unscrew all the other parts ? ( bro tip ) take a 51mm non pressurized filter basket and you dont regret !! you must cut the plastic in portafilter for basket to fit but worth it ;)
@@madmat114 you must cut the black plastic inside the portafilter ( the walls inside it ) and its fit ! if you have some tools you can do it easy! and its worth it 10/10!!!
Think that must use a small screwdriver and EASY separate plastic from Buckless. Be sure that you removed all screws before. I don't have this machine anymore.
No, I am not.. except from portafilter. If you mean two holes on portafilter, that result is how you tamping a basket. If you buy leveler, that can inprove your tamping.
@@joeg946 yes i mean that exactly. what else :) i think i tamp properly anyway with a simple spoon. just because the amount is less always on the right side...
@@unbaiat5705 I not have Krups anymore. I have Gaggia Classic now. It doesn’t have to mean it is broken. Every machinne is deferent. If you want to decrease grind Level number, just adjust burr to finner.

It doesnt steam from the pipe any clues to why this happens
Maybe your boiler clogged with scale and needs to be cleaned. Maybe pump, but not sure.

What griding level are using on the graef?
Hi. My current and best settings are Level 6 now, but with also inside burr adjusted to fine -2 tooth.
