Do you have any recommendations on any aftermarket high quality alternators? I have a lot of accessories and I want my accessories to run to a 12 volt battery that I hooked up in the back with a charger on top of the second inverter I have.
I want to install 120amp amplifier to my 2023 hybrid, but i dont want to use rhe same terminal as you. Do you have any instructions/guides how to connect it straight to the battery terminal?
Why didn’t you just use the 12v socket that’s already in the cargo area for the inverter? That’s what I do and I don’t need to have it exposed all the time.
@@bradsechrist9746 that socket uses wiring that can't safely handle the loads that I run with my inverter. On top of the fire hazard, it's much easier to blow a fuse in the fuse box if I'm using that wiring path.
how it is going so far? any issues? as you know the 12v battery is integrated Li battery , so i don't know if it is safe or no can you share your experience ?
No issues. The only issue I could see happening is trying to pull a load that overheats whatever gauge wiring someone uses. I'm probably going to run 8ga instead of 10 just to be on the safe side for future use.
@@khalidaboelmagd6993 it's best to keep it running but I've used it for very small loads with the car off. I haven't tried anything like a kettle but that's going to require an inverter that can handle a higher watt/amp draw.
I'm not sure tbh. If you do end up going with a more powerful inverter, you need to make sure you use a heavier wire gauge that can handle the increased load.

That is outside my realm of expertise. I only run small loads so I have no experience with larger inverters or alternators.

@@tikhonbondarev7616 I don't. I would use the Kia tech info here to learn how to access to hybrid system battery: kiatechinfo.snapon.com/

@@RivermanTV- thanks for your reply ..
so do you keeps car running while you are using the inverter ?
did you try to run a kettle or something on it ?
