Cottbus is a university city and the second-largest city in Brandenburg, Germany. Situated around 125 km (78 mi) southeast of Berlin, on the River Spree, Cottbus is also a major railway junction with extensive sidings/depots. Although only a small Sorbian minority lives in Cottbus itself, the city is considered as the political and cultural center of the Sorbs in Lower Lusatia.

If you will come to study, I think this is a nice city quiet and not far from Berlin. Traveled for just over an hour and contain of big university. There is a large and beautiful library. I can see that there are a lot of students in this city, like Aachen, that is a university city or the town of university.

@@Sam_Earth I think, There is a job such as,, a job in a restaurant and in department stores because there are many big shopping malls in the city, it could be a mini-job for students. Usually a student visa is given a free ticket for travel (transportation). You can easily come to work in downtown Berlin. But this may be difficult to find job now because of the COVID situation, everything is closed and the city is very quiet. At this time, the Germans are rushing to vaccinate people. I hope will be get in normal soon.
