I love his Midlands accent at the end. Sloane was an amazing film, so funny. I wonder why Peter McEnery stopped making films and TV progs.? He was a great actor. I have a memory of a great performance of his in a play on TV about South Africa, but can*t remember the title.
@@ns2110theonly I can highly recommend Clayhanger and Entertaining Mr Sloane. One of the things I enjoyed in Sloane was that the actor playing the older gay man(Harry Andrews) often played characters in war films with the typical British stiff upper lip, so it was a real shock to see him playing a gay man!
I always liked Peter McEnery. I first saw him in Moonspinners. I wanted him & Hayley Mills to get together in real life. He's a very good actor & it's wonderful to see him. He looks great!

@@yviebooth I remember watching Clayhanger on telly when I was a teenager he and Janet Suzman were marvellous. I wonder why he gave up performing?

Why has nobody seen this amazing film? it's an absolute classic and seems to have been buried for some reason.
