They bought the area sq inch by inch it's now 30yrs those were all mostly our play grounds, bicycle tests with friends. It's crazy how being grown up now I see it was unsafe to ride our little bike up and down that area...

Guys.. actually most of these guys were renting by the time we were growing up around kisenyi, Rubaga road, and near owino area 1994 they started by buying land and building a mosque then from started from there
So that means most of them are not renting those buildings belong to them? Me i thought they started coming to Uganda recently not knowing they have been here for years thanks for bringing this to light 🙏

And I also remembered there was any area with most coloureds like these of minister Babu..(not in a wrong way) cos he was also once the MP of all these areas coloured were the first to come in these areas long b4 the somalis came in.
And lastly... We used to mingle or play daily with The coloured/ kids. But trust my word I never saw a Somali kid 94-2002 we shifted .. thanks for the memories ba dear

Because there is little or no Ugandan citizens who are permanently living in Mogadishu. The Ugandans in Mogadishu are there for official duties, not settlement.
