Hey! Rory here. There's a correction to the video. The new Corolla Cross Hybrid Electric is not the cheapest Hybrid Electric SUV in Malaysia, that would still be the Honda HR-V Hybrid. Apologies for the error, we've corrected the headline to match. Hope you still enjoyed the video, thanks for watching!
HR-V is B-segment suv anyway while Corolla Cross is C-segment. While Malaysian doesn’t even care about the segmentation anyhow, the Corolla Cross is bigger than HR-V in anyway. Basically it’s the cheapest C-segment hybrid suv after all. Anyway kudos for the team for reviewing this.
@@4kkualalumpuraviation924 Thanks! Hope you enjoyed it 🙂 true as that may be, the way we originally worded it left some room for misinterpretation so we decided to change the title just to be absolutely clear. --Rory
Most welcome! Let us wait and see how’s the all-new-2022-B-segment HR-V will stack up against the Corolla Cross even though we know they are from different segments as the new one looks bigger enough to fight with Corolla Cross. And for sure waiting for you guys as a non-car journalist as a majority Malaysian representative to review the car soon. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I think the Honda HRV Hybrid 2019 is still the cheapest hybrid SUV, as the HRV 2019 is still on sale at just under RM114k, before the HRV 2022 comes later this year. The Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid is RM136k.
