Good video overall. Bottom line, if you need a serious, trailer that will be able to carry heavier things better, get a quality dual axle aluminum trailer. There are many used options that can save money. Best to buy one with built in brake lights, real brakes and auto emergency brake, fold down gate, etc. Do the math, load it correctly and set up the chains correctly. The tongue weight and tire pressures #'s are critical things to get right. Also be aware of max towing weight of your tow vehicle and allow some margin for error.
The rust is true. Almost all the trailers at my local Lowe's have rust on them. I almost bought an aluminum trailer and the jack was rusted. I would have kept it covered in WD-40 myself.
Actually disagree buying trailers from a dealership or from a factory, these trailer companies are so packed with work they are not worried with production rather than quality. I am a welder and I’ve seen some of the factory trailers and they aren’t built that well. If you want a good deal find yourself a local shop and have them build you one. Saves money too depending on what shop you will go to. Just saying my buddy builds amazing trailers with amazing quality for cheaper prices than factory crap
trailers are the fruit of the land.. they got tube frame, angle frame, paint with primer, paint without primer, enclosed trailer, closed trailer, four foot, six foot, ten foot, even 12 foot.. two wheel, four wheel, raised bed, lowered bed, wood bed, metal bed.. trailers with built-in storage boxes, trailers without.. they got trailers with expandable sides, trailers with tall rear ramps, trailers with short rear ramps, trailers with side ramps even. That's... that's about it.
I have a Dodge Dakota 2006 V6 3.7 L 4 door 4 wheel drive but I just want to use it for moving lots of scrap in it. It is the small bed version though wanna know what trailer would be best for this for moving heavy scrap items on it.
We have an 18 ft combo trailer we can haul cars on it and also live stock also the live stock cover can be taken off and trailer used for other things it was not cheap put it dose our needs.
who knows what they need it for sky is the limit, if I buy trailer I want use it for everything under the sun short of tractor trailer loads, for that I will use my 53 foot Vanco with swing doors.
I just bought a 6.5 x 16 aluminum trailer tandem axle led lights 7,000 gvr electric brakes it's sick.you want one that will last buy high don't buy used and cheap rust buckets
One trailers angle iron get on one of the front corners and push up and down on it to see how much play that is there to mush play do not buy it it fixes to much.

The longer the trailer the easier it is to back up.

I went with a Floe 8x57 cargomax for my atv, traded both in for a Floe 11x73 cargomax a new SxS. Very good trailers.

Hey I realize it's been about a year, but I'm interested in talking to your buddy about building a trailer. Get back to me when you can!
You sound like bubba explaining shrimp to Forrest

probably a trailer like this. I wouldn't go any larger with a smaller truck like that.
I know this is an old post. I would recommend a dump trailer. They're expensive but durable. And unloading is a breeze.

...I’m gunna go out an a limb and guess he’s from California.

i wish these were still the prices....
Same I just bought a trailer for 850 that should have been 650

Made it to 3:21 I'm not responsible for 2 thumbs down simply because I can not clic it twice
Totally with you. You want quality over quantity when it comes to hauling loads down the road.

Double axle??
You get what you pay for.
Thanks for the video
Do you really know what you’re talking about when you’re selling your trailers
I got too dizzy to finish the video.
