The most natural of choices- you can hear Sparks in so much of the work. Great stuff.
This is the first song I ever associated with them when I listened to Nothing Matters
These women can do no wrong! They recorded a fabulous cover of Kate Bush's Army Dreamers too! 👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤
Perfect. It draws much deserved attention to the wonder of Sparks!
How can this band be stopped. How can we bury ot omfg
You need to cover The March of the Black Queen by Queen . You would smash it ❤
Holy crap. That would be amazing!
Of course it's not a "better" version, but perfectly listenable, fair play to them for having a go at such a classic.
Sodding brilliant.
You'd have to admit the lead singer of TLDP definitely sounds like Russell Mael in this one.
And the tache looks like Ron 👍👍
@@gmantramp404 Rude. But funny.
What a brilliant cover! A song I had long ago forgotten but it’s perfect for them. I really hope TLDP does an album of covers at some point. Every one I’ve heard I’ve enjoyed.
Do a couple of Siouxsie covers
,.,.,....
Give us all a laugh 👍👍
brave and brilliant
Brilliant. Can't wait to see the band in September ❤
Nothing is Sacred Anymore!
Nice cover ^_^.
Flippin brilliant! Every cover they do I prefer to the originals! ❤
hmmmm.
Don’t lie.
Who's lying 🤥?
Guitar tone not edgy enough
Sounds more like a rough demo cut
Love it!!
Maravilloso
They should do A Thing Called Love by The Darkness ... and absolutely a covers album!
keep the covers for live shows..these are an original lot
Is it time to start placing bets on what type of film TLDP will be commissioned to write a single for?
surely they are not old enough to have heard seen or be influenced by sparks
Sparks are still active today.
Siouxsie did it best
What about Justin Hawkins which featured Sparks in the video, as well as Faith No More's duet with Sparks in 1997?
Good cover. Still like the original, but can do without the hitler reference in the Sparks version.
Lol so many comparisons to sparks so now they do a cover, classic come back at haters ......
I really like this band, but this isn't the best cover. Siouxsie did a much better job.
This adds nothing to the orginal. Why would one choose this over the 1974 Sparks classic?
It's not supposed to be better? It's just a cover because their music relates to this particular song, especially if you listen to nothing matters
No one has to choose. They both exist to be enjoyed and if you prefer one over the other, that’s fine. I really like TLDP and I really liked Sparks back in the day - so I find a marriage of the two really interesting. Aurora did an amazing cover of Teardrop by Massive Attack for Triple J radio in Australia (it’s available on TH-cam) but that doesn’t mean I don’t love hearing the original as well.
@@lanedebbie I LOVE AURORA
@lanedebbie Back in the day? Try listening to Sparks now. Their work from at least the last 20 years until today is of such high quality.
I love TLDP but this is awful
