Its funny how a person likes one bar or club. I think it is just familiarity. I used to go to the Den, got to know the girls and had a lot of fun. When I tried other places I didn't know anyone and it was not the same. There were a couple of the popular clubs that I tried, but I could not handle the smoke in them.
Hi Craigh, you are spot on, we all creatures of habit, and have "go to" places, but its always good to check out the odd new one, even just for one beer. I understand the smoking thing, i used to smoke, the smaller bars with low ceilings can be bad, some of the bigger ones are ok, Heaven Above on Soi Boomerang is a great club and they are Non smoking, Sugar Sugar agogo on the corner of LK Metro is non smoking too, both are doing very good business.
Great video Dean👍 It’s was good going down memory lane with Dean, a guy who really knows the Soi well. I’m told Sweat Anita’s bar has now been sold so I can now walk down that Soi again 🤣🤣🤣
Hi Deek, i think that Sweet Alita is one of the oldest bars on the Soi, saw her the other morning drinking with a few customers at 8AM , not sure it she has sold
So sad that Canterberry Tales closed. Before my first visit to Pattaya I use to watch TH-cam videos and Canterberry Tales was in many of them. Such a shame...
Great vlog but I will disagree that the Buzz In bar is the busiest, I see many other bars and my favorite, which I wont mention, have many more punters when I slip by!🤭
Hi, its impossible to say which is the busiest in terms of customer numbers and takings, and of course the different sizes of the bars is a factor, but lots of bars are doing very well, overall i think for consistancy Buzzin has it. Customers all day everyday.
Used go to the family bar and nui's beautiful massage-best and cheapest full service around. You would definitely remember mazy who i believe is working at the buzzin.
Pothole is such a destination, I have missed other good stuff around it. For instance, I knew about the castle & missed it completely. Not sure I am brave enough though 555. Another great video
ChaowSoi was owned by a Scottish guy who sold it a couple of years ago - it was renovated and is called Dinky's now. One of the main cooks (Ann) continued to work there - she's been around for 15 years++
Excellent Vlog there Dean. Its good to see the Dive Bar is still going strong. I popped in there last year and had a good night. Soi Pothole is great value and allot of fun. Also you can sure find a few diamonds on the Soi that could land a job in a Gogo! Wonder if you will look to open another bar Dean or are those days over?
Hi Brad, yes I should have mentioned the prices, all very fair on the Soi, and i have notices more diamonds in the rough arriving now that we are approaching high season.
Enjoyed that Dean. Nothing remainder the same😂 but in a good way. Last trip I was in thd wan bar most nights then mao deep. Both good. Had some food in dinkys. Had a mate staying there 650bht a night he loves it. So much so he's back again in november. I think pothole has got something for everybody's taste. Not long now, for me December 🎉🎉🎉🎉 keep the vids coming
Hi Andrew, i agree, i think Pothole possibly has the most variety of any Soi. 650 is a great price room a t Dinky's, i hope it does not go up too much in the high season
@PattayaInPieces Gareth stays twice a year so maybe they sort him out. I'm staying in a condo at the centara this time. Keep the vids coming. I stayed at the debua due to your vid about it. Cheers Dean
Hi Andrew, it annoys me when they jack up the prices for high season, but i guess they can, i recently found a decent room for a friend at Pace residence on soi Boomerang for only 650 a night
Hi Jeff, so many reasons why bars change, i think the main reasons for westerners selling or leaving is they are not making the money they hoped for, especially considering the hours and stress involved in running a bar. so i think you are spot on.
@@PattayaInPieces thanks mate I stayed on that st in march coming back next march it will be good to see the changes new bars etc when I was there the St was 2 ways now it's one way march isn't to far away so I'm getting excited 😎

Cocos used to be called Chow Soy which was mainly an eating place as is Cocos now with very little modification to layout or size. It is more of just a name change. Some of the staff are the same just a different owner.
Amazing how Oasis Agogo went through so many high-cost décor changes (similar to where Matador now is on Buakhao). So many clever clogs wanting to IMPOSE their vision rather than researching the market. Same could be said of the lunacy of Soi 6.
Hi Andrew, seems so long ago Oasis was there, I think covid was the final straw, also Witherpoons leaving the site next door made it possible to have a big night club, I've never been in JUJU club, but i hear its going ok
