Anyone with milky oil take out your drain plug and see if 10 gallonts of water comes out then the oil starts to drain out. doesnt always mean head gaskets. I had the waterpump shaft bushing go out on my c5500 with a lly. It was so bad it hydro locked the engine from all the coolant that leaked into the oil. had to pull glow plugs take out drain plug and over 6 gallons of coolant/water came out before any oil. New waterpump 6 months ago trucks still running great.
This guy did everything the wrong way, he was supposed to check the upper hose with the reservoir cap close, and the best way to do this is if you drive the truck around and then let it cool at night and then in the morning you check that upper hose.
Cap off that resonator. It is a waist really. Just a turbo muffler. Go to Lowes and get i believe its a 2" pipe block with a clamp. Its like a $3 fix and your turbo will stand out a tiny bit more. People delete them more for looks than sound. Plus more room to work on things.
Literally nothing if you do it yourself. Do not put 6k into these trucks man save that for mods 🙄 save the trouble and find a friend with a lift, pull the body off and spend a few weeks doing it yourself
When you open the reservoir it released the pressure in the system so the hard hose will be hose soft after
This makes me love my cummins 5.9 more

To fix headgasket issues for the lly is to arp headstuds and a thicker gasket
I know

Just got a quote for $6400. It's mostly labor cost. I'd totally do it myself but I don't have the time to do it.
Did the little bit of pressure in the coolant tank turn out to be a issue?
No
@@loganthetruckguy8585 what was it?
@@youquietinpublicthe system is pressurized 15-20 psi so it I’ll always burp like that
So the condensation in the coolant reservoir its normal???
That's normal.
