I LOVE this show, it reminds me a Summerslam 2000 a lot. While undercard was very average, 3 main matches exceeded my expectations. We have two MOTYC, good WHC match and shocking twist in the ending. Awesome
Ring of Fire Match (Bray Wyatt def. Kane): A Ring of Fire Match. Oh my gosh! The crowd was into it, but the match just made no sense whatsoever! Harper & Rowan came to cover up the fire to help their patriarch defeat Kane. And the post-match ending was very, very hard to watch. Horrendous opener! [1/2*] Cody Rhodes def. Damien Sandow: This was a decent wrestling match. It was a basic undercard format, but it played out nicely. The only thing I'm taking away from the match was their decision to have Cody go over Sandow. [**3/4] World Heavyweight Title Match (Alberto Del Rio (c) def. Christian): Excellent World Heavyweight Title Match! It had a lot of good storytelling. Christian going there as the title hunter. The man with the chip on his shoulder. They played out wonderfully! (Brock Lesnar def. CM Punk): Sensational match! For a basic NoDQ Match, this was absolutely brilliant! And I thought the one with Edge and Eddie Guerrero on Smackdown in 2002 was great! This one was just as good, if not better! This match had logic, simple and down to the point storytelling, and a sense of urgency like nothing else! And in the end, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman proved to be too much even the Best in the World to handle. Outstanding match! [****3/4] Mixed Tag Team Match (Dolph Ziggler & Kaitlyn def.
