Once again, Cale and Lucas have had a great episode, with some great discussion about a hot-button current issue, and I appreciate this conversation. I feel that it's okay to watch the Olympics in support of the athletes while still speaking up about the blasphemous display. Yet I wouldn't criticize those who choose to boycott the Olympics. I greatly appreciated Bishop Cozzens's statement, especially in light of what I experienced at NEC. There's something that gives me pause about the night person vs. day person. I definitely struggle with my nighttime routine, and I've been having some serious conversations about it with others. I would appreciate your prayers, as I'll pray for you.

Nice sobering comments and discussion about our reactions related to the disgusting blasphemy. Besides Bishops Cozzens and Barron, this could be a wake up call for more bishops to make public comments about urgent moral issues. Maybe the fruits of the Eucharistic Congress will launch a greater outreach, I hope and pray.

Love your show! But there's another tragedy that isn't being discussed. Lucas is from Wisconsin and he's wearing a Dolphins hat instead of a Packers hat? 😢😢😂

He’s not originally from Wisconsin (we’ll have to explore Lucas’ origins in a future episode), but he is certainly testing the patience of his neighbors! 😂

I totally appreciate the juxtaposition of the Eucharistic Congress and the travesty of the Olympic opening. I am an artist myself, and all l could make of it was my impression that it was just a piece of tasteless, overreaching nonsense. God Bless the French-their culture often veers toward hateful posturing, but their Saints are heartbreaking in their love of God and breathtaking in their devotion.
