Definitely a lot of octaves in my playing, and I mainly have played basslines that had roots and fifths even if I change it up during solos. Some basic tips: lock in the bass hit with the kick drum and try to give the snare space… unless it’s breakcore. Idk how you’d do that with breakcore. Drums are way too damn fast to lock in to. Just whatever grooves is good I guess.

i used a piano from one of the Flex packs that FL Studio gives but any piano with a volume envelope works! to make the release cut sound just turn the release knob all the way down (but not all the way to zero or else there might be clicking sounds, just like a tiny bit above) for this specifically i also added OTT compression to give it a more electronic glitchy feel :D
