Definitely a lot of octaves in my playing, and I mainly have played basslines that had roots and fifths even if I change it up during solos. Some basic tips: lock in the bass hit with the kick drum and try to give the snare space… unless it’s breakcore. Idk how you’d do that with breakcore. Drums are way too damn fast to lock in to. Just whatever grooves is good I guess.

I can't stop thinking about this song like it just pulled a string in me. so i started dissecting your song by literally zooming in on youtube playback and find any way i can make sense of the melody and chord and how the hell you wrote it. and i think i just finally understand how the lyric is written. the chord tho, no fricking idea. idk if i can call it a chord at this point it feels like it joins in the melody and works so damn well.
