Thanks guys. Only just got a chance to watch this one. Conveniently, we plan to be in the Pyrenees next year as we will be visiting friends near the Med. Will be nice to drag the old 4x4 camper out again on a proper trip (not just Suffolk!)
This one was an amazing place to stay, the excitement of practically staying out on the top of the mountains. The food in the mountain refuge was a good experience too 😀 Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Another great vlog you do go to some fantastic locations. It seem as though we have discovered Michelle’s weakness tunnels and caves. Bat’s I’m not going in there. LOL
We are constantly surprised with how many great places we just stumble across with very little planning😀 yes, Michelle is not keen on bats and I’m always looking to exploit that weakness!!🤣🤣🤣
Oh my word you guys are giving us such awesome ideas - when junior goes to university (admittedly 6 years to go) we intend hopefully God willing to be able travel like you are - love the vids thank you
Thanks Gary, there's so much out there to see and experience, more than we ever expected when we started on this journey of adventure, your turn will come 😀 6 years isn't that long, cheers...Andy&Michelle
Really nice video! We stayed a couple of nights a bit further East in Biescas. Some nice hikes there too. The scenery is amazing as are the roads. The food is so good as you say and cheap! 😃Enjoying your videos!
Thanks Jeff😀 we head East from here but we bypassed Biescas, will have to visit the next time. We find the whole area truly amazing for its scenery and hiking😀 its great to hear you are enjoying our videos...Andy&Michelle
Stunning vlog guys, super views and our kind of location. Youv e got me thinking about catching the ferry to Spain and head to the Pyrenees. Thank for the inspiration.
Stumbled across your channel only this evening, and have watched a few of your videos already 😊. Really enjoyed them… from a practical point of view (logistics of travel to Santander) through to day to day enjoyment (hiking up a small mountain range)! As someone who has her heart set on exploring more of Europe (not covered in snow!!) over the next few years, these videos are fab!! Thanks for sharing and posting 🦊❤️
Hi Tyra, thanks for the wonderful comment, it's great to hear your are enjoying our channel. We love the diversity of Europe and will also be exploring more over the coming years 😀⛰🚵♀️🧗♀️🥾🚐❤️ Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Great vlog as usual. At one point on the edge of the mountain you were like two mountain goats clinging on. 😂😂. Keep up the good work and safe travels and adventures to you both.
Looks like you guys had some great fun .. we had 3 months in the van in Nortern Spain in 2021 .. Picos de Europa being a particualr highlight ... we dashed over to the Pyrenees in the last few weeks of our trip to exlore a bit .. only just scratching the surface in the Ordesa region ... I love when on the hikes and following the little markers just how many more markers for different hikes you come across ... I reckon in most areas you could spend a few weeks and never get borded .... Safe travels guys ...
It says something for the area when you can spend 3 months there and only scratch the surface of some areas like the Ordesa region. We love the Pico's and the Ordesa is equally if not more stunning. This was our second trip there and we need to go back 3 or 4 more times I think! Cheers...Stay safe too, Andy&Michelle
Now, I'm not sure, but I don't think blueberries grow on vines. I would have known they were grapes #justSaying. I did feel a bit sorry for Michelle on that ridge, it was flipping windy! Haha lipstick :-) Highest motorhomers in the world - yay. The thing is, you guys show exactly how you should use a motorhome, not just using it as I'd use a caravan, as so many motorhomers seem to do.
In my defence there were mitigating circumstances not mentioned in the video🤣, it wasn't self service, they were behind the counter and i didn't know Spanish for grape. Still admitting a bit fail on my part! Did you notice I wasn't hanging around on that ridge, I was straight over it, Michelle was more of a stroll taking in the views! Cheers
Fantastic vlog. The scenery is superb, looking forward to the next edition. We have just bought our first Campervan and are looking forward to Adventures. 😊
I agree about the waterfall at the start, I would have walked miles to see that. Well I definitely thought they were Blueberries 😂 “Not an official footpath” shock horror that’s not like you to go off the beaten track. Michelle definitely looked much better in the scene after she put the lipstick on 😜 Amazing video as always, I’m definitely heading over to Twitter now to re Tweet this one 👍🏻
Glad i'm not on my own with the Blueberries, thanks David 😊 needed a bit of support there! The more danger the more lipstick seems to go on, I just think Michelle is thinking she might be meeting the rescue services!! 🤣 Thanks for your support as always😍
A great video and stunning scenery as always. My wife and i really enjoy your productions and look forward to the next edition. We hope to get back into Spain or maybe Lake Como/Garda this year in our Motorhome as our usual month long Euro trip.
Thanks Mark 😊 we went to Como and Garda back in our camping days, it was Arco at the north of Garda where we camped next to a Motorhome like ours now and decided that was the future! A month long trip sounds perfect!😀 Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Aside from the boat, there's not even an excuse it's not booked because everywhere we've stayed so far on this trip is free and you can't book😀 just turn up - early 😀 Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Cracking vlog and particularly loved the camera work up the mountain. Heading for Spain and Portugal in 'Stanley' in 2 weeks so looking forward to some epic hikes. Keep the content coming.
Thanks Adrian, Spain and Portugal in 2 weeks 👍 you'll be passing the Pico's National park? thats another great place in Northern Spain 😀 have a great time in Stanley...Andy&Michelle
Oh that was stunning, beatuful magical waterfall, nice walking the log ! what an "interesting" path! Loved the wee roman bridge and old path, great views on the bike ride, what a stunning wee town. What's the make of the wee hoover for condensation? We're not getting any with the silver screens but just in case. That refuge park up looks amazing scary hairpins, waiting with bated breath for the meltdown :-) The ridge walk you can keep you're both nutters ! What a stunning video though thanks for putting the work into editing it we really look forward to content from you guys! Stunning
Thanks Ian😊 the ridge was awesome with views so far into France and Spain. Could have done with a little less wind on it, as that did make it a bit more tricky! . We didn't even think to take the silver screen with us with it being a Spain Tour. It does stop the condensation but also stops the views so the wee hoover (Karcher) is very handy. Glad you enjoyed it 😀...Andy&Michelle
As there is a chance that Michelle reads the response to this question here and not wanting to incriminate myself the answer is most definitely yes! 🤣 x
I just had to go back and check that on the app!, yes we did make good time, it was very steep and slow going up but once up there pretty quick along and back down. Thanks for the credit! 😀
Hi we have made it to Spain. Visited the Picos De Europa. Now on our way to the Pyrenees. Please can you tell me where the refuge you are that huge, lovely meal is located. With thanks. J
Hi Judith, hope you had a good time in the Picos, the refuge is "Refugio de Belagua" head to Isaba and keep going towards France, it's just before the border :) oh and best to book during the day for the meal in the evening, enjoy ⛰👨🍳 Andy&Michelle
Hi Kev, great to hear you are enjoying our trips 😀We use the DJI Mini 2, (there is a Mini 3 now) nothing on the market comes close to these for value for money, quality and the fact they are under 250g (there are a lot more legal restrictions over this weight) You may already know but just incase... you'll need to register your drone, take a quick simple test and get a flyer id to be legal, but its worth it, drones are so much fun! cheers...Andy&Michelle
Thanks Darren, its a 360 camera which allows me to choose the camera angles in the edit, its particularly good on the bike helmet as well as it keeps a forward view even when my head is turning. Cheers
Thanks Peter, the refuge is called Belagua Refuge, it's only about 20 mins north of Isaba. A fantastic stopover but wouldn't do it in bad conditions, it is very exposed, Andy &Michelle
FCP does handle 360 for making 360 videos (which I rarely do, there's only a a few on our channel) but you need to convert to a Equirectangular Projection first using the App or GoPro player. The footage you see me using has been reframed to MP4 first and then imported to FCP for editing. Cheers
@@CaravanWithThatYorkshireChap yes, you can do this either in the GoPro Quik App or the desktop version. I film in 360 in the cab and then later choose the camera angles and the transitions between them. It is time consuming but the effort is worth it for the effect it gives. The only issue is that the max output to mp4 is 1080p, I'm desperately waiting for GoPro to release the Max 2 with better resolution so I can get at least 2.7k. Do you have a 360 camera?
@@ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures no I don’t have a 360 atm maybe a future purchase along with a long pole as your footage is outstanding. Thanks again for explaining 👍

Hi, we were there in October 2021 and went into the Refuge to ask about staying and they said no problem, didn't even ask us if we were eating there. We were warned by the locals that the police were moving people on from some spots. Maybe a different story in high season. Thanks for the info, I'll update the description to warn people to check with the refuge before overnighting, Cheers
