Kate Winslet on the Weight Pressures Facing New Moms: 'It's Not Fair'

Fifteen months after giving birth to son Bear Blaze, Kate Winslet told “Extra’s" Renee Bargh, “To be honest, I'm probably, kind of only just actually back to what I was before and, you know, that's really okay.” In the one-on-one interview, Kate spoke out against the pressures new moms feel to lose weight.

i believe the reason they do these magazines and showing us from the other side that everyone who are actors and actresses that we are all the same. Usually pictures are airbrushed, and celebs are always meant to look hot, and then there is pressure on us - the fans to try and look perfect ourselves as our fave celbs - Jlos got the butt, Jessica Albas got the lips, Nicole Kidmans got the beautiful hair, Beyonce's got the body, etc, but when we can see imperfection in the celeberity world we can see something to relate to because then the rest of us dont feel so inadqeuate - instead if trying to remodle ourselves on the people we admire. If we can see celbs with their problems some of us can see how normal everyone is from Jennifer Aniston to Pink and we can allvgo though marridge problems - it doesnt mean all the issues are going to be the same but we have some celeberity thats going through something any other person would - i think people forget right before celebs started out they were all just the same as us. The only differences are the milion dollar house, the cars they drive - if they have a walk in wardrobe etc When we try and match perfection none of us are going to be satisfied and its easy to think celebs have it all. The swimming pool, the gym, study... killer bedroom - the body, the killer bikini, but if we stop to think actually we dont have all these so maybe the other mans grass is always greaner, that sun shones brighter of the other side but they can have all that money and they are not always very happy and then we have something to work with, that its not just us
