I built an electric beach cart. A Harbor Freight wagon, and a Power Wheels Barbie car. Was very easy to build and cost about $100 for everything. No more dragging or pushing a beach cart. Just push the button and it goes.
I also have a 4-wneel cart. Pull either way/direction with rope and handle front & rear. Wide wheels about 3 inch all around. Holds 2-rubbermaid tubs, sideways and hauls everything I need for a nice day fishing at the beach. Also "no steering", just like that with "fat" wheels.
Those wheels are huge. I use a folding cart that I add rod holders to. It saves on space, since it folds up. It doesn't work that well on really soft sand.
I modified a two-wheel folding golf cart with rod holders and bucket ice fish holder 5 gallon bucket two wheels are 4 inch wide flat Tire on a plastic rim works great on soft sand
I have a Fish N Mate sir cart, which is a very similar frame. i have just bought my second pair of 19 inch Wheeleez wheels for it. My wife thinks I'm mad. I'm about $1200.00 into this cart as it is, but some guys have strip lights & all sorts of electric gizmo's on their carts too. It makes beach fishing so easy, & you can even take the kitchen sink, if you want.
Have a Harbor Freight 4 wheel wagon, I use at Ventura or Malibu pier, right away I had to upgrade the tires and tubes, added PVC rod holders, it carries a lot and is still light enough to put in the back of the F150. I’m going to look into those tires for the sand, in Southern California, sometimes you have to walk a mile or so along the beach.
omg dude when you were talking about the wheels being $150 each or so, I was imagining these tiny rubber black wheels all armor all'd and shit.. then I saw those gigantic wheels on it and spit out my beer laughing haha! sick cart bro!
The only thing wrong is the grand kids will never give it back.. But I would have fun first then load it up and go fishing. Nice work and thanks for sharing your friend and family with us
Fish-n-mate. Currently adding accessories one by one. My latest purchase is the bait bucket holder. I can't go out in a boat and I don't want to make more than one trip out on the pier and one trip in. Money is no object when fishing is concerned to me, but it is to my wife.
this is a great cart. like the guy sez. he fishes the beach. and that cart will roll very easy, I am about to build one with a wheelez 2 axle kit ... I may use a cosco hand dolly as a frame. it has nice handles. loved the vid and the enthusiasm!!!!
We have the same cart just different tires. Also my dad reinforced the base of the cart so we can carry more weight. I do like the tire idea, most of the pomp fishing I do is of the pier instead of the beach.
The only thing about that cart that sets it aside from anything else, is the wheels that allow it to go across sand with ease. Upstairs/downstairs? Any wagon, cart, stroller, etc, will go up or down stairs with the help of two people. As another user said down below, a stroller will get the job done just as easily as long as you can balance out the weight w/o a child being in it. I've done that before. Me personally, I use the "Ozark Trail All-Terrain Wagon with Over-sized Wheels" for $64 from Walmart. It's built tough, and will hold just as much as your cart by stacking stuff and securing it with bungee cords. I made a custom black ABS 5 rod holder that hangs on the backside of it. Every time when I'm strolling down Huntington beach pier, I get people staring at it. All in all, as long as you don't need something that goes across sand, then almost anything will do.
I made a wooden basket that fit on a wagon and fished the nags head pier for a while...its good to have an umbrella as well as the ususal fishing gear...now using light weight aluminum cart with these tires for the sand..looking forward for using it...love the designs of fishing carts and peoples designs,,,,really interesting,,,,
senko skipper i was walking home from a friends house i found a wagon the Wheels were flat and missing handle for the wagon i took it home pump up the tires i put a new handle on for my wagon i got bungee cord strapped cooler to my wagon add a couple beach chairs and put my fishing backpack in the wagon.
Put a flooring so stuff doesn't fall though. I have the same, but a pull type with two wheels rear and a roller wheel in the front. I think I just might change to the four wheel you have here. Thanks for the video.
I'm looking at it like he has 20 in Wheels but I thought about also putting y'all motor to that thing because I like surf fishing that I do like very interesting thank you
So I have the standard Fishin Mate Sr Cart. So far I have used very heavy duty zip ties to attach a milk crate to the handle for extra capacity. I have also used PVC pipe to build a "tree" that can carry five sand spikes and only takes up one of the rod holders on the cart. I am thinking about trying to build a bucket carrier out of PVC pipe for another rod holder so I can carry a cast net. Also I will be adding a big cutting board to mine by bolting it to the small cutting board that came with the cart.
cabellas had a special on a fishing cart with these tires 2 of them on it and it was for 279$ a great deal.If you use these tires you wont believe the difference over any thing else.this is my 3rd generation fishing cart...love to see how people fix thier carts up.I think bass pro bought cabelas so check there
There is one cart that rivals that one, both in size, and quality........the Jupiter wagon from "Alumacart", with it you can have between 1 and 3 rod racks, (4 rod holders per rack) some nice aluminum walls, wide 13 inch tall flatfree tires, and more customizations that I wouldn't have enough room to mention.....also, the inside of the cart measures 44 inches long by 26.5 inches wide........did I tell you that it has a 1200 ib load capacity?.......the only downside is that it is $811.00 shipping, taxes, and most of the upgrades......but then again, at least the cart is made in the USA.
Those wheels BTW cost the manf $37.57 each to manf that includes all overhead. They are screwing everyone over marking up 700%. You will notice now there are many other manf at fraction the cost. I can not believe you actually said it was worth it. You can take a gorilla cart that has a steerable front and has a 1000lb capacity. Swap tires and add rod holder etc. For what he payed in tires you can have the entire cart all assemblies and same type tires.
My pier cart has 9 rod holders, the back two holders are at opposite 45° angles to use under the bridge as rod holders, thin alum. diamond tread bottom. I have regular tires because I don't beach fish with it. I only use it on the pier and bridge. I put a (grease able)swivel caster in the front I can pull or push 300+ lbs with one finger.
I’m jealous of everything about this!! I’ve got a $35 ready made one from Target 😜 But since we don’t live in FL our needs are really limited; we don’t have Fishing piers or beaches nearby. We mainly use it to take stuff from the car to the jonboat at a reservoir.
When I see carts like these , it’s like bringing everything with you but the kitchen sink! 😱 I just want to travel light , I want to fish , not set up shop hahaha Looks heavy as heck , when it came to the stair
I saw in your events page that you’re in Jax. There’s a boat dock to the Ortega river near the naval base that I’ve caught eels, red drum, bluegill, and catfish before. If you have time I could show you some of my favorite spots for bass fishing too.
Just about any contraption that is somewhat sturdy and resistant to salt can make a good cart body. The difference is the wheel and tires. I would rather have a milk crate with a baitbucket and rod holders attached but riding on sand tires than the greatest best designed cart but on regular 3x7 penumatic tires like used on the front of a riding mower or even worse hard tires. Once you have 5 inch or better wheel width you have something worth taking to the beach.
Slight mod to the senior by adding a hitch coupling and bearings to the wheel hubs. I can pull it everywhere the golf cart goes. The electric scooter is next up for a mod attempt. th-cam.com/video/JuRcMQB9oOE/w-d-xo.html
Hey Senko, in need of a good Pier net. Can you do a DIY video on how to make one that will last? Or a review of a good one you like to use. Maybe tie in some pier net knowledge. I hit the Texas coast twice a year fishing and I can’t find an affordable net that’s quality and lasts. Kicking around the idea of making my own.
I have a wife 3 kids that like to come to come surf fishing with me so we have two carts. Both are anglers fish n mate carts. We lug all of our fishing gear and beach stuff in these two carts pretty easily. Our carts do not have the ballon wheels so they are tough to haul across loose sand but do ok down in the wet sand. At some point I’m going to buy some wheeleez or the cheaper orange balloon wheel kits
That thing is bad ass but I would be divorced if I payed that much for them wheels . But I carried my gear back and forth on that pier long walk . Looks like Sebastian Inlet .
I like how Dad is fishing 🎣 while you are talking 😂 😂 😂 you talk I'll fish.
I built an electric beach cart. A Harbor Freight wagon, and a Power Wheels Barbie car. Was very easy to build and cost about $100 for everything. No more dragging or pushing a beach cart. Just push the button and it goes.
Can you explain how you built that?
I modified a jogging stroller that I picked up for $15 at the thrift shop. Holds everything i need. Has 4 rod holders attached.
Great idea, thanks for sharing. Gonna hit the thrift shops tomorrow.

Hey buddy we met at show with my wife. I have the same exact cart. Modified it with the 2 extra wheels. 😁
Getting my Fish N Mate 310 arriving today-so awesome!!
I modified a two-wheel folding golf cart with rod holders and bucket ice fish holder 5 gallon bucket two wheels are 4 inch wide flat Tire on a plastic rim works great on soft sand
I am currently building my beach cart for my upcoming beach trip. I hope to do a video of it soon.. Thanks for another awesome video!
Where can I get more information about the fishing cart shown in this video? Thank You, Jim D.

I saw a guy with an actual sink on his cart 🤣
I just got 19” wheeleez as well. Do you like yours? Too late to turn back. I’m ready to test them soon. Any pics of yours?

I got ATV for my fishing cart good video and info 😎👍🇺🇸
omg dude when you were talking about the wheels being $150 each or so, I was imagining these tiny rubber black wheels all armor all'd and shit.. then I saw those gigantic wheels on it and spit out my beer laughing haha! sick cart bro!
lmao i have one of those standard casual beach carts..... trudging through deep sand is a major PITA! this is nice
The only thing wrong is the grand kids will never give it back.. But I would have fun first then load it up and go fishing. Nice work and thanks for sharing your friend and family with us

A lot of piers in Texas limit the size of cart you can keep out on the pier, but most have a place to park it near the office or store
And where can I get this cart
We have the same cart just different tires. Also my dad reinforced the base of the cart so we can carry more weight. I do like the tire idea, most of the pomp fishing I do is of the pier instead of the beach.
I saw you today at Freshfields Farm! Still posting great content I see!

Can you break that down to fit in the back of an suv?

It is a cool cart, but could you do reviews on say, budget friendly carts? Some of us cant afford $600 just for wheels.
Man that cart is sick u can take it anywhere🦐🐠🐟🐟🦐
Oh cool! Fun guys with tiedies!
Senko Skipper where can I purchase one of these fishing carts and the big wheels ?
"Because I know my wife would kill me." Coming from the man that, as I seem to recall from earlier videos, owns a $1200 Shimano reel. xD
I think he said he bought three of the $1200 Shimanos!!!!
ROFL
Put a flooring so stuff doesn't fall though. I have the same, but a pull type with two wheels rear and a roller wheel in the front. I think I just might change to the four wheel you have here. Thanks for the video.

I carry 2 rods in my hands and all my bait and tackle fits in a backpack or bait in a small cooler that doubles as a seat.
So I have the standard Fishin Mate Sr Cart. So far I have used very heavy duty zip ties to attach a milk crate to the handle for extra capacity. awesome cart haha really looks easy to use especially off the beach.
what pier is that?
cabellas had a special on a fishing cart with these tires 2 of them on it and it was for 279$ a great deal.If you use these tires you wont believe the difference over any thing else.this is my 3rd generation fishing cart...love to see how people fix thier carts up.I think bass pro bought cabelas so check there
That thing looks like the moon Rover
I want to know what bubbler
You make an awesome variety of videos
What size reel and rod is good for pier fishing. I like to catch stuff like cobia
Curious if 4 fat tire bicycle wheels would work.
Maybe!! You should try!
Hi who makes it I want one , anyone know
I love motorbikes and your cart lol
Add a battery and led lights for night fishing that would be awesome,

What is a good size for a fishing cart
I have an old golf club cart, two buckets. Two or wheels will work.
LOL! My husband will be so jealous!
Cool cart but those tires are sick!
That kind price for the tire, I wonder how many tires they sell a year.
Dimensions of the cart? What size RTIC?
What does he haul it home with??
Last time I was there they were killing the slot snook by those rocks on the beach side like 3 weeks ago
Screw a plastic cutting board onto the square frame where you push the cart. Add a 6 or 7ft beach umbrella into a rod holder.
Omg I need that that is such a good idea
Those wheels BTW cost the manf $37.57 each to manf that includes all overhead. They are screwing everyone over marking up 700%. You will notice now there are many other manf at fraction the cost. It looks the lunar rover!
Very interesting
I am trying to convert my COSCO hand truck/dolly. the WHEELEEZ website is some help. I guess your cart started out as a Fish IN Mate sr.
"I know my wife will kill me" lol😆
Are you going fishing in Florida tomorrow
My pier cart has 9 rod holders, the back two holders are at opposite 45° angles to use under the bridge as rod holders, thin alum. diamond tread bottom. I make my wife’s boyfriend carry all my gear. He doesn’t seem to mind very much.
I hate that this only has 8 (9 now that ive liked it) likes for it being such an old funny joke, my wife’s boyfriend made me say this.
You have a beach cart on the pier not on the beach but thank you!

Damn nice cart
When I see carts like these , it’s like bringing everything with you but the kitchen sink! 😱

I love how mr. MIKE ask "your wife didn't kill you yet?"
I have a average orange tire strike zone special surf car I got out of a tent sale
I saw in your events page that you’re in Jax. There’s a boat dock to the Ortega river near the naval base that I’ve caught eels, red drum, bluegill, and catfish before. If you have time I could show you some of my favorite spots for bass fishing too.

Yeah.
It helps those of us looking to make one ourselves.
